I woke up the next morning without getting even a wink of sleep. I could already hear the boys were up and making breakfast. They weren't very quiet with anything they did, somehow it was amplified early in the morning. I could already hear them laughing and joking with each other along with the sounds of pots and pans clanging against each other.
I let out a deep sigh before sitting up and throwing the blankets off of me. I had given up on getting any sleep. I looked over to the other bed and saw that Hyungwon had already gotten up and left.
'What a strange guy.' He had a very cold exterior, but I had the feeling that he wasn't as bad as he was trying to make himself seem.
I looked at myself in the small mirror on Hyungwon's desk to make sure I looked presentable before going into the living room. The boys were all in the kitchen, attempting to cook a breakfast. I noticed Hyungwon was the only one not helping, instead he was sitting on the couch watching the morning news.
"Good morning Areum!" I heard Minhyuk say first. The other boys looked over at me and greeted me as well.
I bowed to them slightly, walking over to the stove to see that they were making pancakes and scrambled eggs.
"Breakfast will be ready any minute!" Kihyun informed me.
"Do you need help with anything?" I asked. I didn't want to be a freeloader.
"No, we're practically done." Shownu said, shuffling behind me out of nowhere. He was wearing an apron, the only one of the group that seemed to own one, and passed behind me to help divide the food into plates.
"Do you like pancakes?" Wonho asked. He had to shake his bangs out of his eyes to look at me.
"Y-yes." I said, a bit taken by his good looks for a moment.
'How are people that attractive? It's not fair.'
Shownu handed me a plate of food and motioned towards the dinner table. I took a seat, waiting for the boys to join me.
"Hyungwon, breakfast's ready." Minhyuk announced, plate in hand as he walked towards me. He took the seat right next to me, Changkyun taking the seat on my left.
"Have you been to Lotte World before?" Changkyun asked, looking over at me while cutting up his pancakes.
I shook my head.
But I imaged Lotte World would be the perfect place to have my first date with Jimin. Instead I seemed to be going on a date with all of these cute guys, which was almost as good.
"You're going to love it there!" Minhyuk cut in. "It's so much fun."
"Okay." I smiled, trying to finish my food quickly so I would have time to get ready and put on makeup. I couldn't hang out with them without makeup on, I had to be somewhat presentable.
Hyungwon sat down across from me, looking as expressionless as usual.
"Do you like roller coasters?" Wonho asked.
"Well..." I started to think, "Not really."
Wonho sighed, putting a hand on his heart in relief, "Thank god, I hate heights. I can't go on roller coasters at all, so usually they leave me alone to go on them. It's pretty boring for me."
Minhyuk pouted to me, "You won't go on roller coasters?"
I shook my head, ever since I was young I had a huge fear of heights. I could go on small roller coasters, the ones for babies, but anything too big or fast was a major deal breaker.
