Chapter Ten: Food Time

The boys and I arrived at a barbecue restaurant. Some of them wanted soju, so we ordered meat and drinks to finish off the night. Everyone seemed happily high off of the fun of the day; but Hyungwon was sitting in his seat, arms folded in annoyance.

"What's your favorite meat?" Wonho asked, he sat right next to me which put me on edge. I wanted to seem cute in front of him, so I was hyper-aware of every small move I made.

"Umm," I looked at the menu, peeling it off of the table and tried to figure out what I usually ordered. "Bulgogi. I like that the most."

"Oh, good one!" Minhyuk cut in, "What are you going to drink?"

I wasn't really the type to drink very much, but I wanted to loosen up a bit and said, "I think I'll just have a beer."

"At least do one shot of soju with us." Minhyuk winked.

"Okay, okay." I said. These guys seemed like they knew how to had a good time when they were together, aside from Hyungwon, of course, who always seemed depressed.

"What about you Hyungwon?" Minhyuk asked.

The waitress brought by a couple of different flavors of soju and the put a beer in front of me and Shownu.

"I'm not drinking tonight." Hyungwon replied curtly.

I noticed a couple of the waitresses standing aside and fawning over how attractive the boys were. I noticed them pointing at Hyungwon in particular. One of the waitresses pushed the other over and she walked over shyly.

"U-ummm." She started to say.

Hyungwon peered up at the girl that was speaking to him. He looked intimidating, perhaps on accident because he seemed to be in a bad mood.

"What?" He asked.

"D-do you have a Kakao talk?" She stumbled over her words.

The boys all "ooh'ed" and Kihyun, who was sitting next to Hyungwon, elbowed him a bit.

"Of course he has one." Kihyun cut in, smiling at the girl.

Hyungwon gave Kihyun a look and then replied to the girl, "Why?"

"W-well, I just..." She started stuttering more. Hyungwon looked completely unaware of the fact that she was hitting on him.

"Just give it to her." Kihyun whispered to him.

Hyungwon rolled his eyes and took a pen from the girl's apron, righting his Kakao talk information on the napkin. The girl skipped off, very happy with her success in flirting.

"She's cute." Jooheon teased Hyungwon.

Hyungwon sighed, "I'm not looking to date anyone."

"That's too bad, considering this happens to you all the time." Changkyun said. Another waiter brought by meat and the boys started putting it on the grill.

"Really?" I asked, he gets hit on all the time with that bad energy he gives off?

"Is that hard to believe?" Hyungwon retorted. "Yeah, girls ask for my number a lot."

"He used to be a model." Wonho said, using the tongs to move the meat around on the grill. "Some girls recognize him from ads he's done."

"What ads?" I asked.

"A lot of small clothing brands. I did some runway too." Hyungwon replied nonchalantly. He was clearly happy to brag about himself.

"That's cool." I replied, watching the meat cook on the grill. I was starting to get hungry as I smelled the marinade cooking.
