Jooheon finally was performing, a large crowd forming and dancing in front of the stage. Minkyuk, Changkyun, Hyungwon and I stood in the middle of the horde to admire Jooheon's performance. He seemed to command the stage, while performing Jay Park's song Worldwide with a couple of other rappers.

"He's so hot!" I heard some girls yell to the left of me.

I chuckled, happy Jooheon was getting recognition. He'd do great in a boy group if that's where he decided to take his talents.

I looked over to the three, seeing that girls were already trying to flirt and dance with them. Minhyuk went off to dance with a pretty short girl and Changkyun went off to dance with a bleached blonde girl. I saw that many girls were trying to flirt with Hyungwon, but he just rolled his eyes and waved them off.

I laughed a bit to myself. All of my friends were getting hit on expect me. But I was used to it. Back when I was friends with Hyuna, she'd get hit on all the time. I was often a third wheel.

The songs changed and Jooheon started performing Jay Park's song Mommae. It was the perfect song to dance to, so I got into it. Although I lacked rhythm, I knew how to have fun.

"Let's go back to the table, I'm sick of all of these people." Hyungwon appeared out of no where, frowning down at me.

I sighed, following Hyungwon back to the VIP area. Jooheon's other friends seemed to have showed up and were sitting in the VIP area too. I poured myself more Champagne and took a sip of it while looking back at the stage, Jooheon was still performing and the crowd was still loving it.

"How do you guys know Jooheon?" One of the guys yelled over the music. He reminded me of Wonho but just a bit taller. He had a strong body and a sweet face with curly hair on his head, he dressed in street wear clothing, wearing Bathing Apes from head to toe. His friend didn't at all look the idol part, but he was wearing expensive clothing too.

"He's a friend." I replied. Obviously we were friends, but I met him in odd circumstances that I couldn't exactly explain.

"Just a friend?" The guy smirked, glancing over at Hyungwon, "Is this your boyfriend?"

Hyungwon looked up at the guy, slightly annoyed. I laughed, probably louder than I should have, before shaking my head vigorously and saying, "No way, this guy hates me."

I could feel the alcohol was making me braver.

"Really?" The strong guy asked, giving me a once-over. "I wouldn't hate a girl as pretty as you."

Hyungwon scoffed, taking another shot.

I blushed, drinking the champagne some more. I knew I was just an average looking girl, but it was nice to hear otherwise.

"I'm Yongguk." The mysterious man smiled at me, reaching out to shake my hand.

"My name is Areum." I smiled back, shaking his large hand.

"Nice to meet you Areum," Yongguk replied, "Who's your friend here? Is he part of a boy group or something?"

Hyungwon just rolled his eyes again, not responding. Instead he just took another shot.

"He's Hyungwon." I sighed, "He's not in a boy group, he's just pretentious."

Yongguk chuckled. "Want to dance?"

Hyungwon's head shot up at the question. His eyes darting between Yongguk and I. I liked the idea of pissing him off, so I accepted.

Yongguk followed me to the dance floor. I got lost in the music dancing with him. He was getting a bit handsy, but I was tipsy and enjoying myself. After what felt like hours of dancing I started feeling tired and thirsty. My feet were starting to hurt in the heels. Yongguk and I returned to the VIP area to find all of the guys had returned; Minhyuk, Jooheon, Hyungwon and Changkyun were back. Jooheon brightened up when he saw Yongguk and the two got lost in conversation.

I downed champagne, looking over at the guys.

"Where are the girls?" I leaned in and asked Minhyuk.

He sighed, "Well, I don't know about them," he motioned toward Changkyun, "but apparently she had a boyfriend that she was just trying to make jealous. There was a whole scene and everything, it was ridiculous but entertaining."

"Mine didn't have a boyfriend, but she ditched me for some model or something." Changkyun muttered, arms crossed.

'Really? Girls would ditch these handsome guys?'

It was starting to get late, well past midnight now. The group got to know each other pretty well. It turned out Yongguk was part of an idol group that was on hiatus. I felt bad for not recognizing him right away.

"Do you want to get out of here?" Yongguk leaned across the table to ask me.

Everyone in the VIP area turned red, pretending to mind their own business. I blushed as well. Was he trying to take me back to his house?

"Uh..."

Before I could respond, Hyungwon stood up angrily and grabbed onto my wrist, dragging me away. He pulled me away from the VIP section to a secluded hallway.

Hyungwon let go once we were alone.

I stumbled back, aggravated.

"What's your problem?" I yelled at him. My wrist turned a bit red, he must have had a pretty strong grip.

I looked up at Hyungwon to see he was unstable, clearly drunk.

"Y-you can't leave with him." He slurred.

"And why is that?" I asked angrily.

"It's time stuff." Hyungwon waved his hand at me, trying to silence my questions, "I don't want you to accidentally let slip about the time piece."

"I won't!" I yelled, angry about how much he undermined me. "I'm not stupid, you just think I am!" I stomped away to return to the VIP. Now that Hyungwon was telling me I shouldn't, I was starting to feel compelled to leave with Yongguk. He couldn't tell me what to do.

"And just so you know, I'm going home with him!" I turned back and yelled, "Maybe I won't come back!"

Feeling confident with myself, I smirked as I walked down the hallway to leave. I didn't have to sleep with Yongguk if I left with him, besides he was fun anyway. But before I could make it out, I felt Hyungwon grab onto my wrist again and pulled me back. He yanked me into his chest before pushing me against the wall, arms pinning my shoulders down.

"What are you doing?!" I yelled. I looked up to see that he had sobered up a bit. He started blankly down at me, eyes tracing my face before landing on my lips.

'Wait, hold on a second-'

Before I knew what was going on, Hyungwon had pressed his lips against mine.

My eyes widened, staring over his shoulder at the opposite wall. I couldn't believe this was happening. He hated me and I hated him back, why would he do this?

I pushed Hyungwon away from me after I came to my senses, running back to the VIP area.

I sat down, dazed, not paying attention to anything around me. All I could think about was the feeling of his lips against mine. I felt something, something odd when he kissed me.

Was it a spark?

No way, I hated him. There was absolutely no spark between us. It couldn't be true.

But there was something there...
