Areum's life is on the brink of falling apart. Her best friend just stabbed her in the back. And to top it off, she has just lost her job! So, she most definitely did not have time for this group of boys, who claimed they could reverse it.
(Now is #...
Hyungwon stopped in front of the restaurant. It was a french style cafe, with pink accents and flower details littered around the outside. I stared at the entrance of the restaurant, knowing that Wonho and his fiance were in there, waiting for us. My heart was racing, and I felt an invisible force field keeping me outside. I just couldn't seem bring myself to go in.
Hyungwon squeezed my hand to reassure me, noticing my apprehension. "It's okay. I'm here." He said, "You'll be fine."
He reached out and opened the door for me. I walked in tentatively, playing with my hair and clutching tightly onto my purse. I couldn't help but stare at my shoes until Hyungwon came in behind me, putting a hand on the small of my back.
"They're over here." He muttered to me, pushing me towards the table.
I looked up to see Wonho and Jisoo sitting at a table towards the back, right side of the restaurant. I made eye contact with Wonho immediately. It was hot out, but he still had on a white turtle neck and black coat.
My heart fluttered right away. I thought I was over him, but all of I sudden I felt nervous again.
Wonho stood up when he saw us, his eyes never leaving mine. He glanced down and noticed we were holding hands, eyebrow raising.
"Hey guys." He smiled once we sat down, putting on his best smile. "How are you doing?"
I looked at Jisoo for the first time that day, noticing she was dressed cutely as well. She had dyed her hair blonde now and looked dainty next to Wonho. His black hair and muscley build contrasted with hers.
"I'm.... doing well." I replied quietly, staring at my hands in my lap. Hyungwon seemed to notice I was nervous and grabbed my hand in my lap.
"She's doing fantastic." Hyungwon cut in. He reached out to play with my hair, pushing it behind my ear. I turned red, giving him an odd look out of habit before trying to play along.
I glanced over at Wonho to see he looked confused, Jisoo just smiled.
Hyungwon turned towards them and said, "Well, what about you?" He asked Wonho, "How is being engaged going?"
Jisoo brightened up, "Actually, we have something for you guys." She reached into her purse and pushed a ton of envelopes to us.
I grabbed one, seeing it was invites to the wedding.
I stiffened. They all had names on them, this one was specifically for me.
"It's invites to the wedding." Wonho replied, "For you and the guys. We wanted to give them to you all in person, but they couldn't come..."
I was fixated on the invite, opening the envelope to find a white lace invite on the inside, shut by a tie. I untied it, opening lace to see the inside of the white card read:
Please join Lee Wonho and Kim Jisoo
We will be exchanging our vows on...
