I stood outside of a large warehouse, clutching nervously onto the strap of my purse. To anyone,  I would look rather suspicious.

But, fear not, because I'm simply waiting for Shownu to show up.

Today was the filming for Hit the Stage. So I waited, dressed a nicely as possible, for my friend to show up and walk me into the building. Only some of the most relevant dancers in K-pop are going into that building right now.

Early this morning I raided my closet for the coolest pieces of clothing I owned. Eventually, I decided on this. It was a multi-color, ruffled, off-the-shoulder shirt with high-waisted denim jeans. I straightened my hair and applied ethereal makeup.

At the end of it all, I looked nothing like an idol

At the end of it all, I looked nothing like an idol. But at least I was close.

After all, I wasn't coming to Hit the Stage to catch attention. In fact, it would be best if no one even knew I was here, because Jimin would be pissed.

I just wanted to be entertained. I was excited to see more celebrities, and Shownu's stunning dancing skills.

Maybe after filming we could go out to eat.

'How am I already hungry?'

"Hey, Areum."

I looked up to see Shownu appear out of nowhere. He was dressed coolly in a black hat and black clothing. He even had some slight makeup on, BB cream and a bit of eyeliner. He looked rather handsome.

My heart skipped a beat for a moment. But I shook my head, ignoring those old feelings that were creeping up.

'You're taken, Areum.' I reminded myself.

"Hey Shownu," I replied, smiling, "You look cool today."

"Thanks," he chuckled, "Ready to go?"

I nodded, following closely after him. Shownu led me to a small door at the opposite end of the warehouse. There was a piece of paper taped to the front that read: Hit the Stage. And two guards stood on either end of it.

They looked us up and down as we walked up to the door. The guard instantly recognized Shownu, but they weren't too keen as to why I was here.

"Who is this?" One of the guard asked gruffly, motioning to me.

"Oh, I'm his-" I stared to respond, ready to explain that I was his friend.

"She's my girlfriend," Shownu replied unflinchingly.

I looked at him, shocked.

'What is he doing?'

The guards shrugged before opening the door for us. As we walked in, I whispered to Shownu, "What did you tell them that?"

Shownu seemed unbothered before replying, "Well, the only way I could bring in a guest was if they were family or if I was in a relationship with them."
