Stuck on you

Alison's POV

Aria was still in the hospital, waiting in the waiting room. Spence and Hanna went to the brew to go get coffee, and Emily was driving me home. 

I was mesmerized by her beautiful face. Should I tell her? I feel like I should tell her. I just don't want to lose her again. I lost her once, never again. She means too much to me. Should I tell her how I really feel about her? 

"We're here." Emily says as she parks her car in my driveway. She glances at me waiting for me to say something. "Oh, umm thanks. Listen, I gotta talk to you about something." I was so nervous. "Yeah, sure whata's up?" She replies with a crooked smile. "No, not right now. Um meet me at the brew tomorrow?" I said. She nods as she starts her engine. I smiled as she drives away. 

I got the keys from my purse and opens the door. "Alison?" My dad was in shock. He stood still staring at me like i'm a ghost. "Hey, dad. How you been?" I said with a smirk. "What happened? Whe-." Before he could finish his sentence, I interrupted, " Dad, it's really getting late, can I possibly explain this tomorrow morning. I promise I will." His face was filled with delight and confusion at the same time I wasn't really thinking about A right now because of how tired I was, I just had to get sleep right away.

When I woke up, dad was sitting on my bed. "Hey honey, how do you feel?" I shrugged my shoulders. "Hey where's mom?" I asked. "Oh, she's at Radley right now, a new patient just transfered there, so your mom had to caregive the patient for a few days. But don't worry she'll be back soon."

"Okkaaayy, what about Jason?"

Dad just looked at me and never said a word. I could tell he didn't know where he was. Whatever. I don't really care. Jason always leave. I don't really know what to do.I couldn't stop thinking about Emily right now. "Hey dad, I have to get ready. Meet you downstairs." I rushed the sentence. "Wha, where are you going?" 

"I have to meet Emily at the brew." 

"Okay, just be careful honey." 

"Yeah, dad thanks." I smiled.

It only took me 5 mintues to get ready. That's how excited I was. I texted Emily. 

Hey Em. I'll be at the brew in 10. 

She replied very quickly. 

Already here ;) 

Wow. She got there fast. The brew was close to my house, so I just walked there. While I was walking I noticed a black shadow following me wherever I would go. Is this A? I tried to walk along in the crowd so that he wouldn't have a chance to catch me. There was a lot of people walking on the sidewalk so I wasn't alone. That was a good feeling of relief. I got to the main entrance, I pulled the door open. And there she was, with her bright blue jacket and her golden highlights drinking coffee. As soon as she saw me, she stood up and gave me a big hug. I blushed, but I didn't let her see it. We sat down. 

"Sooo, what's up Ali?" She asked. Her smile just got to me. I couldn't really focus on what she was telling me. "Ali?" 

I was starting to get worried. I was having second thoughts if I should tell her. I took a deep breath,

"Okay, here it goes. Emily. I've always made you think that your feelings for me were totally one sided." I stopped, thinking if I should go on. 

"Well, that wasn't true. Those kisses, weren't just for practice." I was so shocked that I said that. Em, looked so confused. Finally she said, "I don't know what you want me to say.." I said,"You don't have to say anything. I just thought you shoudl know." 

After that loooong awkward conversation, I told her that I had to go, not just home, but out of Rosewood. I explained to her that A is still out there and is still hunting me. "I'm sorry, I just can't stay." Emily gave me a sad face. Her eyes were watery. "Ali, don't leave again. I won't be able to handle it. Why don't you sleepover at my house tonight. And we'll figure out from then. Okay? But I just really want you to stay tonight." 

Ugh. It's so hard. She melts my heart. "Ugh,. You understand A is still out there, fine. just for tonight." 

That night, we were so tired, we just had to sleep, after a long day. We went to Hanna's tonight to eat dinner. Her mom cooked enchiladas, which was really good. After that, Em drove me to her house. 

"Ugh, i'm exhausted." I chuckled. "Yeah, me too. Ha ha." Her voice is so cute. I turned the lights off and she opened up the blanket and we got under the sheets. We stayed silent for a good 5 minutes. Just before I close my eyes, she whispered,

"Ali..Are you asleep?"

This is my chance i thought. I turned my body towards her. I caught her looking at me. I cuddled up to her, and suddenly. She leaned in closer and she kissed me. When she pulled away, she looked into my eyes. That was the first time we saw each other. Like I finally understood. I smiled a little bit. And she pulled me closer again and kissed me continiously. I didn't stop her, because it felt right. That was the moment that I realized.. I was in love with Emily Fields.
