a/n: i'm going to start putting the translation next to the words since it was suggested.

there was a handful so please correct me lol

I slowly opened my heavy eyes and sitting up in the car seat. My head was killing me as if I was hit by a train and had a heavy hangover. How did I even end up here? All I remember is that dinner party with Axel, Jaxon bursting in looking very angry, and I walked out with him. The rest of my memory is hazy.

It was still night out for sure. I guess I was only out for a few minutes.

"You're awake."

I looked over at Jaxon who was driving. He didn't look back at me. He kept his eyes on the road. I wasn't sure if he was angry or not but, he seemed more relaxed than earlier. My head started to ache again and I couldn't help but, rub it.

"How are you feeling?" He queried.

"Like shit."

He mumbled something but, I couldn't hear what he said. He eventually got louder for me to hear him. "You drunk the wine."

I sighed in exasperation. "What's so important about that damn wine?"

"Because he was going to drug you." He snapped at me. I was taken back by his anger all of the sudden and from what he said. Axel seemed so genuine to me. I didn't suspect that he would do something like that.

"I only took a sip before you smacked it out of my hands like a madman." I frowned.

"Doesn't matter. It still got in your system."

I stared out the window deep in thought. Axel may actually be a bad guy. Well, he is a bad guy. I can't believe he was going to do that to me. What would've happened if Jaxon didn't show up? I mean, not saying that I wouldn't depend on Tyler but, him against all those guards... I don't think the outcome would be pleasant.

Jaxon is really trying to protect me... like he said he would.

The replayed last night of what I remembered back in my head. "Wait. What was Caleb doing there with you?"

Jaxon kept driving ignoring me. I crossed my arms, glaring at the side of his face. "I know you hear me talking to you."

"I know." He said.

I rolled my eyes, sitting back in the seat. "Fine, just don't talk to me then," I mumbled. Why is he so irritating?!

I'll just ask Caleb myself. Knowing him, he doesn't like the pressure of being questioned head on. I know he wouldn't lie to me but, keeping a secret like this from me is something new...

"I thought you said you were going to Kamila's?" My Dad questioned as soon as I walked in the door. I can't even get a second to breathe in this house first. It finally dawned on me that I texted Mom about me going over to Kamila's house.

"I was." I lied.

"I called over there, Kimora." My Dad eyed me suspiciously.

Shit. I'm busted.

I'm going to be grounded for a month now! Maybe stuck with some disgusting chores...

"If you were going to be with Jaxon, you should've just said so."
