a/n: lmao no one wondered where jaxon was the last chapter! XD

and seriously, when i said no spoiling, just don't and i said that in the first chapter of the story. :( i'm sure (to some of the rereaders who decided to spoil), you guys wouldn't want someone spoiling a story for you.

don't tell what's going to happen in the sequel either because keep in mind... the sequel will be different from how you know it just like this story is different :/

with that being said, let's get on with the story.

*this isn't edited but, none of them are*

JAXON

Beads of sweat were trickling down my forehead. I struggled to keep my breath evenly. My legs were ready to give out as I fleed down the street, pushing past the people who lingered in the streets at night. Kimora would kill me if she found out I was in this little mess right now.

"Stop right there!"

I heard the footsteps of the two police officers behind me. All I could do was smirk in amusement. This was pretty fun to me and to think this all started from simply teasing them.

I kicked own a trash can and looked over my shoulder to see one of the officers topple over the trash while the other jumped over it.

"If you don't stop running, I'll have no choice but, to shoot!" I heard him threaten me.

I laughed, giving him a charming smile. "All because you can't catch me?"

His face got redder in anger and I know I could easily get myself out of here. I intentionally ran into a dead end. I knew this part of town like the back of my hand. I turned around to see the officer finally catching up. He took out his gun and directed it at me.

"Shut up and put your hands in the air." He snarked. I rolled my eyes mentally and obeyed, putting my hands on the back of my head. He didn't say anything but, advanced towards me cautiously.

"You know, I like nachos. What's your favorite food?" I asked and he looked at me like I was crazy.

"Are you a dumbass? I'm about to arrest you." He said and I saw a figure creeping up on him. I smirked. "I don't think so."

On cue, the figure knocked out the officer. I sighed in relief and taking the chance to gather my breath. This causing a distraction was exhausting. "Thanks for helping me out." I breathed out.

"It's no problem." Caleb nodded, shoving off the hoodie from over his head. He furrowed his eyebrows, eyeing the police officer on the floor. "What come you asked me and not Tyler?"

"Kimora wouldn't suspect you doing anything like this, would she?" I asked, leading us out of the dark alley and heading over to our destination.

I heard him sigh. "Yeah but, let's just keep this hidden from her for a little while..."

I looked at him from the corner, feeling a bit pissed off. I know Tyler told me Kimora and Caleb were him were best friends... even Kimora did too. I couldn't help but, wonder what was going on between them. I wanted to hear it from him. "Do you like Kimora?"
