[Poor poor Rage. ]
Amaya nearly jumped out of we skin at the scream inside the store. She sighed quietly and wormed her way inside after recomposing herself. Finding Rage in a crumpled stance and throwing money on the counter, she steppe up to him and looked at him curiously. Her ears twitched at the sound of crinkling paper bags and she turned to face the blind boy, her hair bristled up.
Through gritted teethe, she growled, "Who screamed and why."
Absolutely zero question in her voice. It was a demand. No, a command. "NOW," she snapped.
Kazuki blinked his visible eye and smiled slyly. "Some guy through his communicator." He pointed at Rage and set the heavy bags of...food on the counter and smile more. "Says they found a place to live."
"You are all kinds of intruding, aren't you?" Amaya snapped, grabbing what bags she could and stalked back out of the store.
"Sorry. Just a habit. Probably what made me blind," Kazuki muttered, scratching the side of his head. "I swear... Women these days."
"What moment, jackass?" Yuki grumbled in Kiba's ear. "Hey! It's okay for you to come in!"
"Shut up, no they're not!" Kiba whispered defensively. He didn't want anyone in te room. He just wanted to be with his albino mate and snuggle and be cute and stuff. But nooooooooo.
"You shut up! Let 'em come in. Don't be a prude!"
"Fine, dammit!"
"Ha. I win."
"Shut the fuck up." -.-
"Bite me."
And...he did. He very gently nipped her ear.
Gracie
Even with his deadpan face, Rage's previous scare was apparent by the beads of sweat that had accumulated on his brow. Scythe's calls just snuck up on him in the most random intervals....
He noticed some of the bags missing from the counter and saw Amaya's purple hair trailing behind her as she stormed out with them. Rage straightened and wiped his forehead with his arm, forcing himself to calm his heart.
"I swear...women, these days," the blind teen sighed, making Rage blink at him.
"..." Rage carefully reached out and took his hand. Just as he'd thought. They were Scythe hands. Warm and soft, inviting. This was the hand of an individual who could not be put down. Rage almost smiled. Almost.
He couldn't bow - the guy probably wouldn't see it - so Rage figured a handshake to be its equivalent in this situation. He gave the blind teen's hand a firm shake.
Then he swiped up the remaining bags, ended up bowing anyway, and hurried to catch up to Amaya. It's not like she would know where the new house was.
Kugomi shook Vell's hand off - much to his annoyance - and trotted over to the bedside. She leaned in close and squinted at Yuki. "..." She stood back up and tilted her head. "You CANNOT be related to the bastard-cat! You're too pretty!"
"Anybody's prettier than you, tomboy," Vell growled.
"And anybody who isn't related to you is cool in my book," she shot back with a quick glare in his direction. Kugomi turned back to the girl, grinning, sticking out her hand. "The name's Uzumaki Kugomi. You?"
