Kiba's smile turned into a flat line. "Did she die?" he asked simply, his eyes down cast. "I can't tell you what I would do if my Yuu-chan died. I couldn't be held responsible for what would happen." He frowned and closed his eyes. "I love that girl too much."

He shook his head and leaned up against the wall, closing his eyes.

"Just wish she'd see that some-"

"Would you shut the hell up about all this depressing crap?" Yuki was standing right there in the mouth of the hallway, her arms crossed over her chest. "Jeeze, remind me not to leave the room. Sorry, about that, Scythe-san."

It was like she was scolding him. He smiled. Kiba rolled those slitted eyes of his and smiled wider.

The honey haired boy closed his brown eyes and kicked himself off the wall, turning to make his way to the bathroom. He couldn't believe the nurve of that godawful woman. Inviting a normal person to a ninja office. Ridiculous. He frowned, letting his hand slide across the wall as he made his way to the bathroom.

The invitation itself made him feel dirty, he decided.

"Hmph. The nerve..." he grumbled, stepping onto the cool tiles of the bathroom floor. May as well get cleaned up for the verbal annoyance that would ensue. He frowned and quickly pulled off his shirt, the collar tugging at his hair and ears. He shook his head free and tossed the article of clothing to the side.

He reaches over and searched for the knobs that started up the water and--

"Kazuki-kun!" a very familiar voice howled sweetly, permeating the air with its sugar.

--and he literally jumped so high that he hit his head on the ceiling.

Gracie

[OHMYKAMI *falls off chair* She is not. TELL me Rukia is NOT in there with Kazu-kun. *dying of laughter*]

Scythe blinked first at Yuki, then at Kiba. "D...? Did I make you think...?" He laughed heartily. "No! No, Naora-san is alive and well. In fact she's somewhere here in Konoha - no doubt with a slue of redheaded kids and a husband. I wonder where she lives...?"

"Senpai, shouldn't Rage-senpai have soup or something?" Awaji called from the kitchen around a mouthful of chips. He'd gone through three bags already.

"Un. In a minute," he replied. Then he turned back to them, shrugging. "Oh well. It's not like I want to visit her. It's fine, Yuki-san, I don't mind the questions. Was Amaya-san awake when you went to see her? ^^"

[You broken-hearted boy. You should not be smiling like that. =A=]

Me

"Why are you smiling like that?" Kiba questioned almost angrily.

No one should smile if their one and only love is separated from them. This simple fact brought his teeth out and lips into a snarl.

"Kiba, calm down. It's okay," Yuki chided softly, gently tapping his shoulder. "Don't provoke anything... And Ami-san wasn't sleeping too well..."

His only escape was to quickly strip down and hide under the spray of water that flowed hotly from the shower head. Yup. That HAD to be it. And so, he tore his boxers off and dove into the shower, his eyes wide with alarm. What the hell was that redheads woman doing here?!

If she caught naked, there's no telling what awful things she could say to embarrass him. Especially because he was naked, oh, he was such a fool! Stripping down to hide in water wasn't such a good idea.

"Kazuki-kun! I brought you something!" Rukia chimed harmlessly, her voice passing the bathroom door.

He panicked, pasting himself to the tiled wall and staring in the direction of his bathroom door with eyes wider than the moon.

Gracie

[Oh. My. Godddddd! *choking from laughing on the floor*]

Scythe's smiled didn't exactly dim - it just shifted into a different kind of smile, one that was understanding, one that was content with defeat. "I don't know," he said honestly. "Naora-san always said I smile at the wrong times. Is this not an appropriate time to smile?"

He was serious. There was no joke in his soft, amicable tone.

Awaji frowned at Kiba's back from the kitchen as he was suddenly attuned to the conversation. "Senpai can smile whenever he wants!" he squeaked protectively. "If you don't like it then get outta here. You and your grossness. >("

All that yelling floated into Rage's and Awaji's bedroom. It became small drills that burrowed into the teen's ears and forced him out of sleep. He blinked his orange eyes open with a soft moan.

Bed? When did he go to bed? He sat up, dizzy and feverish but otherwise feeling fine. He looked about the room and listened to those loud voices with detachment, not really registering the meaning of them or who they belonged to. So how when had he fallen asleep?

Amaya.

Rage threw his green covers off and stood, staggering a little in the process. Oh Kami, how long had he been out?

[Rage never gets sick, so he recovers fast. It was all probably lack of sleep. 9.9'' And awww he's all worried he left Amaya alone. >w<]
