Amaya choked on the carbonated water she was sipping and glared into the light of the open refrigerator, spitting most of it back into the bottle messily. "Hell. No," she snapped, wiping the few small droplets that slipped down her chin "YOU guys do it. I'm staying out of it."

A disturbed shiver ran down her spine.

Those two feral friends of hers would skin her alive if she woke them up. She wasn't scared. She just didn't want to have to deal with their kicking in screaming because she didn't want another headache. Yeah, that's it. That's exactly why. She closed her purple eyes, ears twitching.

"Rage-kun, please put some spices on my morning meat," Amaya chimed softly.

Gracie

"I'll get a bat."

"Waji-Waji," Scythe said in a soft warning tone. The little boy's face twisted in disgust and he stomped back into his room.

"I'm not coming out until they're up!"

Rage reached languidly into the upper cupboard for a few containers of spice and shook them into the skillet of breakfast steak. Scythe didn't eat breakfast so he didn't have to worry about making a separate pan.

Scythe now stood over Yuki and Kiba again, hands on his hips, frowning thoughtfully. "I get the feeling I'll be beaten up if I wake them up wrong," he said slowly, frowning further.

After stirring the beef around a few more times, getting it nice and aromatic, Rage took the skillet into the living room and crouched down by the sleeping couple on the floor. He waved it next to them, far enough that they wouldn't get burned but close enough that they could smell the irresistible, meaty scent laced with spices.

[Rage-kun and his none-violent solutions. XD]

Me

Amaya watched as Rage hobbled off into the living room, Pam of searing breakfast steak in tow, and closed the refridgerator. She stepped over towards the counter and hopped up, following Rage's movements with her stoney purple eyes and almost grinned.

He was waking them up the correct way.

However, she frowned, seeing as the two feral lovers hopped up with unnecessary glee at the scent of spiced meat that was being waved around in their faces. Kiba's tongue was unceremoniously hanging from his face and Yuki was doubled back on her knees, hands up like a begging cat. If Amaya wasn't Amaya, she would think the pathetic sight was cute.

But she was Amaya. She rolled her eyes continued to watch.

"Hey, c'mon! Give us that meat!" Kiba barked, his fangs out and his claws at the ready to tear it all apart.

"Yeah! Please!" Yuki pleaded, her tongue lolling.

[Oh for gods sake. -.-]

Gracie

Rage had prepared for this - he took two forks from his sleeve and stabbed a hunk of meat with each of them. Then he handed them to Yuki and Kiba. He'd have let them grab the small steaks themselves but the pan was way too hot and he didn't want them to get hurt.

Scythe watched the display first with disbelief, and now with a grin. "How do you do that?" he laughed.

The black haired teen blinked questioningly at Scythe on his way back to the kitchen.

"Know exactly how to deal with people you hardly know," Scythe elaborated. "You saw them - what - two weeks ago? For two minutes maybe? How in Kami's name did you know they needed to be woken up like that?"

After a pause to consider, Rage just shrugged lightly. Scythe shook his head wearily. "I can't figure you out."

"Are they done being gross?" Awaji asked, peeking out of Scythe's room furtively.

[Yuki and Kiba made me giggle. XD And d'aww, imagining Rage's little confused shrug was kinda cute. >w<;;]
