[xD haha. *snap snap* I totally made Kakashi sound black. XD]
Amaya leaned up against the wooden pillar outside the grocery store, crossing her arms. The past twenty-four hours had been strange, so very strange and she had a feeling that they would only get stranger. She sighed lightly, storing out into the dark streets.
There were two things that bothered her. One: That guy's knowledge of her name and his cousin. Two: the fact he was blind and the fact Aosora had the audacity to force Yuki into killing someone. Not just someone. It was Yuki's brother.
She shook her head, watching as few normal people and ninja passed her by, some dipping their heads, others oblivious of her. A lot of these people seemed to be jounin and very few were gennin. She hmphed at their politeness, completely confused and unhappy as it is.
Kindness wasn't exactly a concept he wanted to be laid out before her and thrown in her face, simply because she didn't understand it. Why were people nice? Why weren't they? Why were they anything? She frowned. This is exactly why she hasn't advanced farther than gennin level.
Another question. How did that boy know her name? And her cousin?
Kazuki smiled. "Listen, big guy, I know you can't talk. Just tap once for no and twice for yes." He took in a smooth breath and scanned in all of Amaya's...candy and cookies and cakes. And spices. He smiled more. 'She did tell me that all Ami-san ate was sweets and spicy food.'
He chuckled an continued his job. "So, are you her friend or a bodyguard? 'Cos you're a pretty big guy."
The couple continued to sit there and stare for a while, completely blocking out Kakashi. They were lost in each other's eyes. Kiba broke into a toothy grin, Yuki upholding her frustrated expression. He leaned in and nipped her nose, chuckling as she sneezed.
Kakashi rolled his eyes and pushed away from the wall. As cute as they were, this was really awkward. He sighed and scratched his head. Too damn awkward. He worked his way to the door as quietly as he could.
"Uh...don't do anything," the jounin instructed, taking his leave.
And, to no one's surprise, they ignored him and indulged in their sweet moment, moods switching to calm and almost needy.
Kiba wrapped his arms around Yuki, careful to avoid her injuries an nestle his head into the crook of her neck. She smelled like lavender and blood, sweat and tears. Poor girl. He didn't like that she smelled like four different things. She was supposed to smell like lavender and, well, natural. He enjoyed her normal scent. Not this blood and sweat scent.
He crinkled his nose and stayed put, Yuki's clawed fingers taking a gentle hold on his jacket. That was how she hugged. It was a cute and innocent manner, one really only saying that she didn't know how to do this. He nuzzled her neck, sighing.
"What?" she asked quietly, pulling back to look at him.
"You stink."
She deadpanned and nearly decked him.
[Oh the romance. *bats my eyelashes* Oh shuddap.]
Gracie
[OwO Yun-chan and Kiba-kun are so cuuuuuuute. *squirms* Kakashi sounded like a black guy; ohhh that made my day. 'Cause I could see him going "Mmhmmmm. *snap, snap*". Totally Kakashi. XDDD]
Rage blinked in surprise. Was this person a shinobi? ... No, he didn't have much strength in him, although his chakra was activated... Such a confusing person.
He didn't have to think about the first question. Tap. Rage certainly wasn't Amaya's bodyguard. But the second inquiry stayed his hand from making his answer known. Friend? They couldn't be friends after such a small amount of time - not even a few hours, wasn't it? - but they weren't necessarily strangers, either. Rage realized that he was actually beginning to be fond of the small, sweets-loving, always-frowning girl.
After warring in his mind about the right answer, he opted for a third choice: Tap, tap, tap. "I don't know".
"So what the hell are you doing here, ookami gaki?" (wolf-brat)
Kugomi glared up at Vell as they walked down the road. Her eyes were still red and puffy but she no longer cried. "I could ask ya the same thing, baka neko," she pointed out.
He rolled his eye. "I asked first, so you answer first."
"Hmph." Kugomi folded her arms and squeezed her eyes into a characteristic squint. "If you've gotta know, I found a guy that lives here. He's...my twin."
Vell stopped and stared down at her. "Your WHAT?"
"Shaddap! I'm tellin' the truth-ttebaya!" she snapped irritably. "His name's Uzumaki Naruto an' he's a genin here in Konoha. I found out last month. I've been workin' up the courage to come back an' see him... That's when I picked up your sickly-sweet scent." Her nose twitched in irritation. "Smelly cat."
The silver haired teen's ear twitched and he growled under his breath. "Well, I was dragged here by those three stooges because they wanted me and Onii-san to make up."
Now it was Kugomi's turn to stop. "Ehh?!" she yelped.
"My thoughts exactly." Vell grew quiet for a minute and they kept walking. Then they arrived at the hospital. "He's in here. With his kid."
"EHH!?"
"Quit saying that; you'll look like you're mentally fucked-up," Vell grouched, smacking her spiky blond hair upside the head.
She rubbed her scalp, glaring at him moodily. "So. Are we going in there?"
"...Yeah." Vell tromped up the hospital steps, Kugomi taking two at a time to keep up with him.
