[*awakens in an epic manner*]
Yuki rolled her eyes and sat back down in her spot, wiggling her hips and throwing her own legs up on the glass coffee table. She sighed irritably and looke up at Kakashi, who was waddling over with lunch. Fish.
"Kakashi-tousan, why did you get fish?" she inquired, quirking an eyebrow.
Fish was gross. Well, only because the last time she had some it was moldy and if she didn't eat it she'd die. She almost died eating it. That experience certainly made her stop liking fish.
"Well, because of your uncle. He is a cat after all," he explained slowly and smoothly, like he always did.
"Hmph. A dirty one. When was the last time you took a shower, baka neko?" Yuki elbowed poor Vell in an attempt to get his attention. Not hard, but not gently either. "Ou! Answer me, jisan!"
Amaya faintly felt fingers brush away her hair and in response to the slight tickling of it, she sneezed softly, her face only slightly wrinkled. Her eyes blinked open and she looked up at the hand that moved her hair. Large, calloused hand. Oh... It was Rage again.
She blinked for a moment before pawing at his hand. To hell with sleep. As tired as she was, she couldn't get any even she wanted to. So, maybe if she moved a bit and played with something, she'd get a little more tired and fall asleep then?
Right? Right.
His hand was very big compared to hers. She pressed her hand up against his to measure and coughed at the difference. Wow. Her hand could barely stretch about his palm, his hand was so big.
At this, she looked up at him and blushed at his expression. He had worry written all over his face and while he might not be blushing, she could tell he was feeling something because his ears were red. And he was staring down at her.
She blinked a bit and her purple eyes widened just a little. He worried about her? But why? She was only sick... She'd get better within the week. Yes she would. So ha. He didn't have to worry about her, but even though he didn't have to, he did.
Amaya appreciated that a lot.
Without a second thought, she brought her lips up into that kind of smile that no one could really tell was a smile. Well, she could but that's because they her lips and her face. "Ne, Rage-kun..." she cooed softly, each word escaping raspily.
Gracie
[*tries to imagine you waking up in an epic manner and proceeds to laugh ass off*]
"I smell a lot better than you're mutt," Vell said indigently around a mouthful of seaweed, rice, and tuna. "And if you HAVE to know, it's been two days."
"Take a shower after you're done eating," Kakashi said, lowering his mask to let his chopsticks pop some sushi into his mouth.
Vell flicked his ears moodily. "Don't call me grandpa, gaki. If I'm 'grandpa' then Onii-san is old as dirt. And fish is good for you! So shut up and eat it." With that, he broke a pair of chopsticks and set to work devouring his sushi.
Rage blinked when Amaya caught his hand before he could pull it away. She was...playing with it? Well that was the only explanation for her prodding it and measuring it up to her own. She had such small, cold hands. They were soft despite her kunoichi life. He sighed and didn't notice he'd begun staring at her as she played.
Until those big amethystine eyes turned to look up at him and he froze, feeling guilty for staring. They locked onto his peach colored ones and wouldn't let them go.
"Ne, Rage-kun..." she murmured.
It felt like someone had taken a sledgehammer to Rage's ribcage and his mouth unconsciously opened a little. As if he were about to answer her. Then he stopped. He couldn't talk. Even if he wanted to, he couldn't. He was acting like an idiot. A total idiot!
The black haired teen's face burned and he dropped his gaze to his opposite knee, still painfully aware that Amaya had his hand in her little grasp. His heart pounded. What the hell was going on?
[Rage's a shy giant. XD]
