"Ah, sumimasen! Sorry for interrupting you lunch, but I couldn't help but wonder..." He turned to the girl, who blinked at him in a cutely curious way. "Miss, do you happen to know anyone by the name of Kazuki?"
Rukia smiled very warmly at the newcomer, intertwining her perfect fingers. His question was strange, almost rude. She didn't mind it. Her smile only widened.
Now, the name Kazuki, however, rang a small little bell in the back of her mind. It held a sense of familiarity to it, warm and full of happiness. Kazuki. Kazuki, Kazuki, Kazuki... An image of a brown-haired little boy instantly appeared in her imagination, memories of playing in a leaf-littered meadow off in a forest of bamboo following.
She smiled even more.
"Tsumamoro Kazuki-kun, ne? He was a friend of mine a long time ago. Do you know him, er... Mister-kun?"
The mentioned boy cowered in his booth, his heart beating thirty times faster than it already was right when she said his name. She said his FULL name. That's something no one was supposed to know...
[Oh, poor Kazuki. XD]
Gracie
Scythe couldn't help but smile back at the girl's beaming face. She could grin so widely without it looking forced or gross. Was there no fault to this woman? No wonder Kazuki was nervous, though, Scythe remained unaffected - he'd given his heart to a girl long ago. She hadn't had the decency to return it.
"My name's not so important. But, yeah, I know Kazuki-kun! I think." He turned to his booth, where he could see the blind teen looking like he wanted to sink into the dark red leather booth and never come back out. Scythe's grin only widened.
"Naaaa! Kazuki-kun! Your last name's Tsumamoro, right? I think she remembers you after all!" he called out cheerfully.
[D'awwww Kazu-kun. >v< And Scythe means well. Even if he is making an ass out of himself. XDDDD Just trying to help out his new friend.]
