Amaya breathed slowly.

"I guess. Sure ain't mine. She's at home," Yuki replied coolly, walking along and continuing to ignore the poor feral boy beside her. "Probably pissin' on something. Haha, Kakashi-tousan's shoes." She laughed warmly, amused with the thought.

"That's scent-marking," Kiba muttered, stuffin his hands in his pockets.

"Tha'td be funny. For about five minutes. Then Kakashi'd get rid of her or something," the albino continued.

Amaya let out a cold breath, padding frozenly behind everyone.

What did she do wrong? What made Rage look away from her like that? Why was that boy so damn shy? Why wouldn't he open up to her? Especially her? Why? Was she just to weird to talk to? Was she just weird? What? Goddamn it. What and why?

She shut her icy purple eyes and ran a hand through her course purple hair, her long, sharp purple ears twitching violently. She did not like this at all. She felt rejected, lost, confused, and alone. Because of the opinions and behaviors of her roommate. When did she get so unnecessarily sensitive? She frowned deeply, opening her eyes an glarin ahead of her as she went along.

When did she feel something towards a boy?

[Awwww :x]

"Not a total loss," Vell said petulantly. "Having no dogs in the house for once would be kinda nice. Then again, I don't want Onii-san mad, so I guess that mutt pissing on his shoes wouldn't be such a good thing," he sighed. He was thoroughly enjoying ignoring Kiba. It was the one think he and Yuki could do comparatively well together.

"Vell-kun!"

"Oh God dammit. =_='' "

Kugomi came to a halt in front of the foursome, blue eyes bright. "Ohaiyou, Yun-chan, Kiba-kun... ... ... Chibi-chan," she said slowly when she did not recognize the small purple haired girl behind her former sensei.

Vell walked right up to her and flicked her forehead. "No way, ookami-gaki. Not today. You'll leave me alone if you know what's good for you. Last night's shenanigans of dragging me around the village has officially put me in a very bad mood," he growled.

She swiped his forefinger away with a squinted frown. "I'm not here to see you, ya grouchy neko. I came to see Scythe-senpai and Rage-kun and Awaji-kun."

"Then what the hell are you saying good morning to us for?"

"I was bein' polite! Asshole," she snipped, shoving her hands in her pockets and stalking off towards the apartment. Vell watched her go, eyebrow quirked.

"Goodbye to you, too."

Me

Amaya flinched visibly at the blond's statements. 'Rage-kun...' she thought sadly, a soft frown on her little face. Rage. She looked downwards to the cement flooring, stopping along with the rest of the group.

"Na, jisan. What the hell?" Yuki quipped inquisitively. "What was she doing again?"

Kiba growled, tired of everyone ignoring him, and slinked off to join the blank-faced purple-haired girl at the back of their group. "What's wrong with you?"

She ignored him, too engrossed in her own thought. That blind said Rage's name. She frowned. Rage... That's all she could think now, his name. Rage this, Rage that. And then...the oddest thought popped into her head.

Spinning around on her small heel, she took off back towards the apartment.

[Ami-san's jealous and it's cute.]

Gracie

[AWWWW *dies of Ami's cuteness*]

"She's being a little moron; what else?" Vell muttered with a roll of his onyx eye. Abruptly, however, he noticed Amaya turn around without warning and run after Kugomi. He blinked. "...Sweet Kami, I need to stop hanging out with you weird people. =^="

The door burst open, and everyone turned in surprise. "Kugomi-chi!" Scythe exclaimed.

Rage slouched back in the kitchen chair as Awaji hopped up to greet the blond girl. He'd been expecting... Well that was just ridiculous. She'd just left. Why would Amaya come back so soon? The black haired teen sighed and gathered up the empty cake box from the counter to throw it away.

"I hung out with Vell-kun all day yesterday - so I thought I'd chill with ya today," Kugomi said with an Uzumaki signature grin.

"Sounds like a plan," Scythe said amicably.

"Kugomi-neechan. Finally, somebody who isn't gross," Awaji piped and hugged Kugomi tightly.

The blond girl quirked a brow at him and pushed him off. "The hell was that for?"

"Rage-kun, Kugomi-chi's going to spend the day with us," Scythe explained as Rage trudged from the kitchen.

Rage nodded a little, orange eyes on the floor. This was the worst. The absolute worst. He couldn't get the fact that he'd upset Amaya out of his head. Kugomi blinked her blue eyes and walked up to him, reaching up to poke his forehead. "Naa, is Rage-kun all right? He looks like a kid who lost his blanket."
