"Ah, yes, sir. We have...a wine that fits your needs," chirped the very thin and black-haired waitress, scribbling down the wine she spoke of. "And, Miss Rukia," she started again, as if remembering the singer/killer's name, "his choice is white, as you requested."

Rukia grinned and nodded. "That's perfect, hun."

"Alright! I'll be right back with your drinks." The waitress scuttled away.

Kazuki glanced at Rukia and frowned slightly, disappointed in that aspect of her character. She didn't used to be this way. And he wouldn't let this simple fact go. Ever. His best friend is an alcoholic. And a killer. What's next, he's a drug addict? He shook his a head a little bit and closed his injured eyes.

He missed it when they were younger.

"Kazu-kun...what's wrong?" Her voice took on more of a motherly tone, soft and worried, after she switched her attention from Scythe to him.

"Don't worry about it, Rukia. We can talk about it later," he replied softly, leaning his chin in his palm again. As different as she may be, she still deserved to have her fun.

But that still didn't change the fact that it hurt to know she had become this way.

"Oh...okay. Sorry, Kazu-kun," she mumbled.

Amaya nuzzled her small head into the source of warmth's chest, her ears perking as she realized that this was the warmest part of their body. It was jut so warm she couldn't resist it. She soon found herself on a pair of legs and curling herself up into the body they were attached to, burrowing her face into the warm center of--

She was on a person.

But...she didn't care. She was too cold, too tired to really think about it. All she wanted was to be warm and this person was extremely warm. She breathed softly, her heart returning to a slow beat. This person was the warmest person she's ever had the chance to sleep on.

Hell, the person was the ONLY person she's ever been able to sleep on.

So warm... She went limp as sleep took her.

Scythe squirmed in his seat. Well. This wasn't awkward. At all.

He decided to daydream while they waited for the drinks. He wondered if Rage was up yet - it'd been a couple hours. Of course, knowing him, he'd need several more. Scythe smiled while he recalled this aspect of his best friend. He smiled wider when he thought of Rage's reaction when he woke up with the tiny Amaya beside him.

But, it wasn't good to leave them all asleep like that. He'd go home after the toast, he decided. Of course...leaving Kazuki alone with these people didn't set well with him.... Scythe frowned.

Kazuki was with Rukia. She seemed to care about him and they went back a ways. He'd be fine... ... ... Scythe hoped.

Awaji groaned and rolled onto his back, scratching his stomach. "Hungry...." He sat up and scratched his sleep-squashed hair.

"Rage-senpaiiiii. When's lunch? Can we have--" Awaji's words stopped behind his teeth when he looked toward the couch.

Rage and Amaya were asleep there, the girl sitting in his lap and leaning against him. They were both dead-asleep. Awaji stared at the sight - even though his eyes were still squinted, his face was in frozen shock.

"..." The brown haired boy scratched the back of his neck. "Aw man! I knew bringing a girl in the house was a bad idea. =A=" Awaji got to his feet and shuffled into the kitchen to scrounge up some food for his black-hole stomach.
