Rukia just smiled her sweet smile and sipped at the wine, nose crinkling just slightly at the taste. It was...less than pleasant. In fact, it was actually gross. The flavor was too strong, almost like that was the only thing in it. Flavoring. She shook her head mentally and smiled.

Scythe was mentioning something about her cousin and his friend, Kazuki was asleep (which made her smile widen), Deidara was just sitting there and trying not to be too noisy or obvious, and Sasori was also quiet. But he was always quiet. A little earlier he'd tossed the metal scrap at Kazuki's face, making room for the revealing of his destroyed eye. Deidara was the one that threw the kunai that sliced up his cheek.

Knowing that, she frowned.

"Ah, Scythe-kun, please tell my cousin that me and her brother are here," she said softly, setting her cup down, her disapproval of it more than a little obvious. "And..." She paused looking down and past her breasts, reaching into her obi. She had to give Amaya SOMEthing... Pulling out a black coin purse, she set it on the table. "Please give this to her."

"Ne, Kiba-kun, are you absolutely sure this is where they live?" asked a small albino girl, her voice stubborn and resistant. "Amaya doesn't like fancy places."

"I'm positive, Yuki." Definite and cocky.

Yuki closed her bi-colored eyes and let out a smooth breath. She sniffed at the air to make sure he was right and frowned. "All I smell is sickness and some kind of pheromone."

Wait. Pheromones? Whoa, whoa, whoa. Nani? Since when can she smell pheromones? "Kiba. Explain this to me."

"It's sexual pheromones!" he squealed, tossing his arms around her waist and nuzzling his head into the crook of her neck, nibbling wherever he nuzzled. He was grinning slyly, teeth bared, and playing with the bottom her white jacket.

"You're such a child!" Yuki snapped, shoving him right off of her, a deep scowl of scorn on her face.

Kiba whined. "I was just tying to play with you...meanie." He crossed his arms and looked away from her and towards the door they were standing in front of.

"Well, knock."

Amaya sighed softly, getting more comfortable in Rage's arms, nuzzling her head into his chest. He was as warm as warm could be and...she loved it. She really did. His heart was still beating fast even after he had fallen asleep. This made her heart skip.

It was...cute.

Cute? Odd. When did that enter her vocabulary? Whatever the case, she would accept it and let it go because she really didn't care. She was warm and with her friend and so close to falling asleep she could almost taste it...

Her ears twitched slightly, swiveling backwards in a more relaxed way, and she fell right back asleep.

To dream of sakura blossoms and the boy she was with.

Gracie

Scythe blinked before scooping up the coin purse in his hand, looking at it curiously. "Hai, I will. Don't know if she'll understand me in her state, though, so sorry in advance if she doesn't seek you out right away," he said with an apologetic grin.

He stood up and turned to the table, bowing just a little, smiling. "Thanks for the company! ^__^" The brown haired man spared a look at the unconscious Kazuki. "Oh, and...can you make sure he gets home? I don't have time to take him...Sorry." He walked out of the BBQ house and into the freezing, bitter cold.

Awaji opened his door without making a sound, peeking out of his room. He spotted Rage and Amaya lying together on the couch and stuck out his tongue in disgust. Eaugh! They're all mushy-gushy... he thought with a frown.

Well, this was no fun. It was time to go out and find Scythe. Awaji was so hungry he could feel his stomach trying to eat itself.

Not bothering to close the door behind him, the brown haired boy crossed the room over to the front door without so much as the floor creaking. Being an assassin had its advantages, after all. But just as he quietly opened the door--

"!!!" Awaji almost yelped in fear. A fist had come this close from his nose in a knocking position. The fist belonged to a feral-looking boy his age but much taller than he was. He looked down at Awaji quizzically. Beside him was a fair, pale girl who Awaji found vaguely familiar.

The feral boy looked about to say something when Awaji made a "Shh!" signal with his finger. He carefully, carefully shut the door so no click was issued. He sighed in relief when he heard no disturbance inside, then turned to the boy and girl.

"Who're you? -o-"
