Amaya stared up at the tall boy with vague eyes and twitching ears. She blinked at his worried face, into his concerned peachy eyes, and frowned. Deeply. He broke the door frame...

"Why'd you do that?" she questioned him, that rolling and lurching feeling bombarding her stomach again. She groaned and turned to the porcelain toilet, her thoughts directed to the evil stirring in her belly, and knelt before it again. This time, though, she was dry-heaving. Her throat closed and her stomach just jumped around like it was free as a bird.

The pain of the acid and the pain of the constant moving and rolling and pounding was just awful. It wouldn't stop. It wouldn't go away. It was inescapable.

More dry-heaving.

Was her seal breaking?

No...it couldn't be. It was a seal. A seal that she could renew every now and then. She could keep it up and maintain it all the time, right? It was a seal that Chiyo-baasama placed on her to keep the Gobi inside a long time ago. Why was the seal fading?

She could practically feel the multi-natured, lavender chakra seeping from her tiny body, enveloping her and licking at the floor and walls. She could feel the hot burn of her multi-colored whisker marks sliding up her cheeks. She could feel the hatred, anger, sadness, grief, love, kindness, and lust of the Gobi as it continued its work on her, clawing at her belly in its effort to be free.

Why now?

She shut her eyes as tightly as she possibly could, the pain becoming too unbearable. The stupid demon was hurting her. She should have known better than to come along with everyone instead of working on her seals. She should have known!

A soft whimper was released as it all just became too much for her and she collapsed.

"Rage..." she squeaked, fading into unconsciousness.

<Yay for drama. -.- Awful awful. Bleh. Lame.>

[O3O Ami, noo! D:]

Rage slipped his arms around Amaya before she could totter and injure herself more. He looked at the unconscious girl in his hands, stricken. What the hell had happened?

"Take her to her room."

A voice from the doorway made him flinch uncharacteristically - he'd been jumpy for no reason a lot that day - and stared wide-eyed at Scythe as he leaned against the broken door frame, hands in his pockets, brown eyes somber.

He lifted his chin to indicate Amaya. "Put her in bed and make sure she's comfortable. I'll go see someone about seals. She's a jinchuriki, Rage-kun," he prompted gently when Rage wasn't understanding what he meant. "Like Kugomi-chi and Vell-kun."

Rage blinked almost stupidly and Scythe sighed with a shake of his head. "I'll explain later. Just get her under some blankets before she catches her death," he instructed before shrugging off the doorway and disappearing. He hadn't even looked at the splintered door frame.

Still uncomfortable with touching a girl he hardly knew, Rage had some difficulty scooping her up with minimal amount of skin-to-skin possible. He flushed the bile-filled toilet with his foot and carried her princess-style to her room, setting her down and tucking the covers around her.

Jinchuriki... Huh. He'd never heard the proper name for a demonic-possessed human before. The name sounded old, in much need of repair. And ugly. Very ugly.

Rage straightened and looked down at Amaya. Her face was smooth of tension, now, and she appeared peaceful. Compared to what she'd been minutes ago, this image of Amaya gave Rage some portion of relief.

He turned to walk out of the room. Hesitated. Looked over his shoulder at the unconscious girl. Hesitated again.

With a quick but gentle movement, he brushed the bangs from her eyelids and strode out, closing the door softly behind him, to wait for whoever it was that was to make Amaya better.

[Time skip to when she wakes up? And you can decide who helped with the sealing. 939'' And I guess Yuki, Kakashi, and Vell can come back into the picture again? XD]
