Harley's outfit for the day ^

Harley
Why the fuck did I agree to go last night?
Waking up was absolute hell, almost falling asleep again after the alarm went off.
Drew didn't fair much better, heading straight to the medicine cupboards to get Tylenol's. After gulping those down we felt a little better but still felt the effects of partying. I can only imagine how much worse Ally has it.
We're now sat at his dining table eating breakfast with Beth.
"Harley you sure you don't want to try it, just once? There's other girls your age there." For the umpteenth time asking if I would go with her to yoga classes.
"I'm not very flexible, and I can't sit still for a long time peacefully." I would probably disrupt the class if I bounced my leg up and down or, tapped my finger on the floor. I do those enough at school as it is.
"I still think you would enjoy it," she says partly disappointed but already knew my answer. "So how was the party last night?" She questions with a sly smile.
Drew groans dragging a hand down his face. "Shit." His mom rolls her eyes unfazed at her son's foul language.
"Normal, everyone's drunk and crazy." I respond laughing a little at Drew's opinion.
"Ah," Beth leans back in her chair looking up. "Gotta love high school parties."
When we finish our eggs and bacon, courtesy of Drew's mother, we trek upstairs. After freshening up we both grab our bags and head out.
As Ally has a tendency to sleep through her alarm sober, she most definitely won't waken when she's drunk and hungover.
"So.." I trail off confronting the uncomfortable elephant in the car. "What was your deal yesterday?"
He lets out a sigh, hoping I wouldn't bring it up. "I don't like Cody."
"Well yeah," I huff sarcastically. "I've figured that out. But why does it matter? You're acting like an annoying boyfriend!"
"Why can't you just trust me?" He practically shouts.
"I need a reason Drew. What if I told you I didn't like that girl you were with, then what huh?" I counter.
He doesn't answer as he rolls into Ally's lane way stiffly. Honking the horn it only takes a few minutes, shocking I know, for said best friend to stumble out with a granola bar hanging out of her mouth.
Collapsing into the back seats she swallows her mouthful of oats and honey.
"Thanks for picking me up. I feel like shit." She also looks like shit. "Why did I drink so much?"
"Told ya so!" Drew jokes.
Oh so now he's all playful? He's blatantly ignoring me and my question.
"Harley you okay?" Ally tilts her head a little studying me.
"Yep, fine." I give her a tight lipped smile. Both Drew and Ally most likely knew it was fake, only one knew why it was fake though.
"Okayyyy," she drawls out, obviously feeling the tension coming off of me.
Maybe I'm over thinking this? Am I being a bitch about this?
The ride feels longer but eventually we get to our destination. I practically jump out of the vehicle needing to have some fresh air to clear my head.
"Harley come with me to the bathroom." She's not asking, this is her way of saying, I need to talk to you why are you acting weird.
Tugging me along with her, similar to what I did with her last night, she darts into the closest washroom. Doing a check she makes sure we're the only ones present.
"Okay, what gives?!" Throwing her hands up exasperated she watches me for any indication of lying.
"Uh.." I look down picking on some lint. "Nothing?"
"Yeah, you and Drew who barely argue but definitely have something going on, is nothing?"
"Well..." of course I end up telling her the whole story.
"Oh." For once she seems a little lost at words. "Well I think you're both kinda in the wrong here."
"What, how am I in the wrong?" This time I throw my hands up in frustration.
"Maybe he actually has a reason for you to stay away from Cody, maybes there's actually a legit reason." She shrugs. "But It isn't right for him to tell you to stay away without at least a decent answer, plus he's always with random girls. Have you tried talking to him?"
"Yeah," I say. "That's why I was annoyed with him in the car, he ignored me when I asked what if I didn't want him hanging with that girl he was kissing."
She nods her head understanding. "That explains it. Well, we could give him a taste of his own medicine?" She smiles evilly.
"Nah," I reply. "I think I'll get over it, I think it's just short term frustration." You know that, in the moment frustration? Well I'm gonna hope it's that. Being mad at your best friend sucks.
"No you won't." Ally bluntly says. The bell rings ending our bathroom conversation.
Surprisingly the day goes by without a hitch, none of us brought the Cody conversation up again. There was still an elephant in the room with Drew but more like a mini one that you can forget about.
Ally and I made pizza for Home Ec while Drew did his soccer. Pizza is much easier than pasta.
The day ends rather quickly, and soon enough I'm in bed after doing most of my homework.

"Okay class we are going to have a first project of the year..." and here we sit in bio class. "...You and your partner need to choose a public figure and show all the possibilities of hereditary illnesses or behaviours," he clasps his hands together finishing his instructions.
"Wanna study at my house?" A lazy smirk appears on my lovely bio partner's face.
Gross, we both know what type of studying he's talking about. "How about the library instead, or would that ruin your reputation too much?"
"Depends, do you want to ruin it?" He leans in a bit closer.
"Okay great," I shove my stuff in my bag then swing it on. "See you at the library one o'clock."
"It's a date." Sending me a flirtatious wink.
I don't bother correct him knowing it'll lead to nothing.
Let's see what we're cooking today, I dearly hope it's not too difficult.
