Sorry this chapter isn't that long, I'm trying to get the story moving more.

**********

Harley

I groan in protest when my warm pillow starts to move. I attempt to wrap my arms around it tighter, which in my drowsy state doesn't work very well.

"Harley," A familiar voice whispers. "We have school."

Why should I care if I have school? It's not like it's-

Oh crap, Monday.

With that thought in mind I bolt up quickly. Rather disorientated I look around spotting Drew's amused expression.

"Why didn't you wake me up earlier?" I cringe when I read the clock. "We're going to be late."

Whipping the comforter and blankets off of me I hurriedly find clean clothes and practically run to the bathroom. Taking the fastest shower I could I manage to only take ten minutes instead of my usual thirty. I don't bother blow drying my hair and only brush out the knots and tangles.

When I exit the bathroom Drew is miraculously looking like a vogue model. He didn't even shower, how unfair.

Grabbing a granola bar on the way out I slip on my biking shoes. Since Drew stayed over his bike is still here, which is our fastest mode of transportation currently. Walking out the door Drew is twirling his keys around his finger while I wolf down my food. Biking and eating doesn't mix.

Once I've got my helmet strapped I readjust my backpack and check the zippers. No need to accidentally drop school books and supplies down the street.

Cruising down the smooth roads I feel relaxed and rest my head on Drew's shoulder. Slowly rumbling to a stop we're parked a decent length away from the doors.

"Thanks for offering a ride." Comes a sarcastic remark behind us.

"Ally you think it's a death trap." I snort.

"Well drive a car like normal people do."

I roll my eyes. "Drew had his bike at my house and we woke up late."

"Oh?" She has a smirk and looks at Drew beside me. "You guys slept together?"

Catching on I scrunch up my nose. "Ew Ally, not like that."

"Yeah Lee Lee," Drew laughs next to me.

Pushing our way through the throng of students we get to our lockers. As I'm almost finished I feel a tap on my shoulder.

"Yes?" I spin around facing the person.

"Hey Harley," none other than Cody greets. "I was wondering if you'd go out on another date with me?"

Ignoring the two pairs of eyes from my best friends boring into me, I answer. "Sure, I'd love to!"

"Great," he grins. "I'll text you the details later!"

With that he gets washed into the waves of students.

Turning around I anticipate Drew's disappointed expression and start preparing an answer. But I only find Ally standing there, Drew left.

"Where'd Drew go?" I ask puzzled.

"You're so dense girl." Ally starts walking to our class without waiting for me.

Attempting to shrug off their confusing behaviours I quickly hurry to our first class.

The classes pass by quickly even though I'm not very focused. A few times the teacher would call on me but luckily I knew the answers. At lunch Drew didn't show up and Ally said he was with soccer friends. Which I didn't believe.

Lunch seems to take forever as we sit silently eating our food. Only once in a while we'd say something, then the conversation would die again.

Mindlessly looking around the busy and loud cafeteria I almost cheer when I hear the bell. Quickly cleaning up I bid Ally goodbye and try to track down my other best friend. When I walk into the room Drew hasn't come in yet so I take my usual seat. The class fills up pretty soon and Drew still hasn't arrived.

Slouching in the chair next to me Cody is playing some game on his phone.

"Oh my goodness is the bad boy playing solitaire?" I exclaim glancing at his screen.

He huffs at my dramatics. "Yes I am. Laney wanted me to teach her the other day and I've discovered I like it.

"Aww," I coo laughing. "Aren't you a nice big brother."

Just as the teacher was about to speak the door opens revealing Drew.

"Mr. Deacon hurry and find a seat please. I'm letting you off since this is your first time." He says with a stern tone.

Without looking at me Drew bee lines it to his chair next to Clarissa,  who seems overly happy. I'm unable to talk to Drew as the teacher right away starts his lecture.

The minute class is over I pack my stuff and head out the door. Waiting outside I know ambushing him is the only way I'll manage to get him to talk to me. When I spot his mop of brown hair trying to sneak out of the crowd I grab his hand yanking him into a nearby closet.

Slamming the door shut I stumble on my feet as it's pitch black limiting my sight. Falling forward I'm absolutely shocked when my lips fall on his soft lips, leaving a tingling sensation. Coming to my instincts I fumble and push away removing my hands from his broad but comforting chest.

"I'm sorry about that I can't see anything." I mumble an apology beyond embarrassed. Only good thing about it being so dark is he can't see my crimson blush.

"It's fine," he chuckles.

"What's your problem?" I decide to be blunt.

"What do you mean?"

I sigh annoyed. "Drew don't play dumb you know what I mean."

"I'm going to be late to practice I need to go."

"You started acting like this right after I talked to Cody. It has something to do with him doesn't it?"

"It's nothing I gotta go." With that he swiftly slips out of the closet. Leaving me all alone in the dark to mull over what just happened. The weirdest part is that it's not about the cold shoulder he's been giving me, it's the warm kiss we accidentally just shared.

Why did I feel like that? I must be sick or something.
