Someone can clean up fairly nice, Harls shoulda gone out with this guy.

Andrew

"You're saying she's still out with him?"

"Yeah, I'm currently on her bed waiting for her."

"Why is she still out with him?" I mutter under my breath, but of course Ally catches it.

"Dude you need to grow a pair." she bluntly states. "Ever thought maybe she is having fun and enjoying her date?"

Fuck

"Look just because I told you this doesn't mean you have to start insulting me with it."

"You say that as if I didn't know before," she laughs through the phone held to my ear. "Drew I'm pretty sure everyone except Harley can tell you're in love with her."

But it doesn't matter if it's not the right person. Who cares who knows? I just want her to know

"What if she doesn't love me though? Then there'd be this awkward air between us." I sigh running my hand through my hair.

"Drew if we always based our lives off of what ifs we'd never get very far."

"Damn," I mutter. "When'd you get so wise and old?"

"Us gingers are always wise." Is her smart response. "Oh gotta go, I hear a car pulling up."

10:30. About fucking time.

"Kay bye," I reply but she's already cut the line.

Exhaling loudly I let my body fall back on my large bed.

Ally's right, as much as I hate to admit it.

Knowing I'm not going to fall asleep with my active head I change into a pair of joggers and a hoodie. Quickly slipping on some runners I head out the door as quietly as I can. Nothing like a night time jog to clear your head.

After I stretch my limbs out I start at a steady pace. As my thoughts start consuming me I push my body to work harder and faster. Before I know it I've done the six kilometre block and am at my doorstep again.

Opening the black door I creep silently up the flight of stairs. Once I'm done a quick shower I fall back into bed, this time with my head clearer and more relaxed.

"It was actually really fun," Harley practically beams.

I knew I'd regret asking how her date went.

"What'd you do?" I attempt to not show how much I was affected by her having fun with someone else. On a date.

She proceeds- without failing to drop that happy smile- to tell me how her whole night played out. From where Cody brought her, to the little things like what they had eaten.

Why does the asshole have to act nice now?

The thing with loving Harley is that, no matter how much I try telling myself I don't want to love her like that and that she needs a supportive best friend, I can't. Once you love someone there's no going back. Once you notice their little habits you can't unnotice them, nor do you want to. It can be something as simple as their angelic laugh or their easy loving personality. It's harder not to fall in love.

"Sounds fun," I force out when she looks at me expectantly. I may not be the cause for the glow that runs through her face, but I sure am not going to be the cause that makes it vanish.

"It was." This dreamy look appears in her blue orbs. Hell no.

"Did you guys kiss?" The, shockingly, previously still Ally asks.

"No," thank goodness. "It's just the first date, you don't do that yet."

Dropping her head back Ally laughs, her eyes creasing a little at the corners. "You're so innocent Harley. What are we going to do with her Drew?"

Kiss her. "No clue." I grin.

"No I'm not!" Harley sticks her tongue out at Ally causing us all to laugh.

"Sure hon."

"Whatever," Harley mumbles faking annoyance. "We should do something."

"You were on a date last night and you're not tired at all today?" Ally asks incredulously.

"No."

"Man, you'd probably be good in bed then too."

I burst out laughing when Harley's usually pale milky skin turns bright red in only a matter of seconds.

"Oh my goodness Alison, don't say stuff like that." She grumbles hiding her blushing face in her arms.

Still chuckling Ally pats Harley's shoulder attempting to comfort her. "It's nothing to be embarrassed about, guys love girls with stamina."

But I don't want other guys loving Harley. Or worse thinking about what she'd be like in bed. Shoot now my mind is going  down that direction...

"Sure I'm down, what about you Drew?" Ally cuts my train of thought off before it could take a dip.

"Sorry, what?"

Stifling a giggle Harley repeats. "Do you want to go to the mall?"

Wonderful. "Does any guy want to go to the mall?"

"Great you're coming," Ally yells over her shoulder as she dashes out of Harley's room.

Like more civilized and normal people Harley and I walk to her front door after grabbing the necessary things. Taking my car since Ally didn't want to drive Harley is in the the passenger seat, with the said red head in the back seat. It doesn't take very long until we've arrived at the large shopping mall.

With an energetic bounce Ally pulls Harley to walk beside her the minute they're out of the car. They, well mostly Ally, chatter excitedly about some new store opening. Every once in a while Harley would say her input on the matter.

I trail behind them with my hands stufffed in my brown hoodie.

I almost bump into Harley as she abruptly stops in front of me with an excited grin. "Did you hear that Drew? Ally says that a new Revzilla store opened!" I internally chuckle at her enthusiasm over a store, though I must admit I like their motorcycle clothing they have.

"Really now? About time!"

Seemingly ignoring my words she grabs my hand tugging me to move faster. Without me trying my body complies to the woman latched onto me. She could probably throw me off of a cliff if she tried hard enough. Let's hope it never comes to that.

As we arrive at the store front Ally wiggles her brows at me without Harley noticing.

"Well I'm starving and need to go pee, I'm just going to grab a bite then come find you guys okay?" Sneaky little thing.

"Oh we can come back later and go with you-"

"No!" Harley shoots her a confused look. "I mean, no it's fine. I'll be real quick!"

"Okay..." Harley says unsurely.

"It'll be fine," I attempt to convince her. "Like Ally said, she'll be back real quick."

Before flipping her red hair over her shoulder she barely whispers something.

Good luck.
