Harley
Huh, Ally must've been very hungry.
"That was odd." I mutter under my breath.
"Uh yeah," Drew's eyes scan the store. "Let's see what they have here."
Heading to the motorcycle department I'm pretty impressed with their stock. They have a nice selection of boots, pants, shirts, and almost anything you could need. Much better than the run down Revzilla I used to go to.
Finding a nice casual but protective leather jacket I pull it off the rack. Feeling the material it seems like it could survive a few scrapes while remaining flexible.
Slipping it off the hanger I slide my arms through the jacket. Adjusting the sleeves to be comfortable I turn to look in the nearby body mirror.
"How do I look?" I look through the mirror to Drew who stands behind me.
"G-good." He utters after a minute. Okay then.
I shoot him a confused look but he's already turned and walked away. Shrugging it off I take the jacket off and hang it back up.
After mindlessly wondering around the women's department I decide to scout out my odd behaving best friend; no not the ginger one.
Catching him at the perfect moment Drew has his back to me looking at something in his hands. Silently creeping up I surprise him by jumping on his back, resting my chin on his shoulder.
"Harley! You trying to knock me over or something?" He adjusts his posture and hooks his arms under my legs.
Rolling my eyes I catch the teasing glint in his eye when he glances over his shoulder. "As if I could've made you fall." I scoff.
"Are you finally admitting I'm strong?" We continue browsing, this time in the men's section, with me still on Drew's back.
"Nope," With my arms wrapped around his shoulders I pat his chest. "You're just sturdy." It's not like I have to tell him I can feel his muscles flexing whenever he moves.
"Sturdy basically means strong." He argues back.
"Well in this case it basically means you just have good balance."
I can practically feel him rolling his eyes. "Oh, so that's what we're going to call it?"
"Yep!" I grin a cheeky smile.
When I lock eyes on a pair of sleek high top style shoes I wiggle out of Drew's grasp. The black shoes are both water proof and fashionable, bonus. When I notice that there's a pair in both men's and women's I clap my hands together.
"We should get matching shoes!" I've never had water proof biking shoes that were actually pretty and casual looking.
At first he sends me an uncertain look but after studying the details and features he's on board. Plus who wouldn't want to match their best friend?
Once we've found our size we go to the checkout and pay. With our new shoes in hand we exit my favourite store. Perfectly timed Ally walks towards the store front; though suspiciously with no food with her.
"Hey Ally, you managed to catch us just as we were leaving." I greet with a hint of skepticism.
"Oh really? Great timing then!" Quickly changing the subject she points to our purchases. "So, you guys found something?"
