It's becoming increasingly difficult to keep updating chapters each Monday. Trying to keep up the motivation to finish this though!

"That's so cute!" Ally squeals animatedly. "I needa find me a girl to be cute with."

"You will," I encourage. "One day, at the right time they'll walk into your life."

"Oh also did you hear there's going to be this huge party at one of the football boys' house for New Years?"

I did hear a little bit of it. "Kinda?"

"We definitely need to go." She laughs at my not so enthusiastic reaction. "Come on, you even have a New Years kiss this year!"

"True." I roll my eyes but laugh.

Our gift exchange between the three of us was really low key. I had found a company that made a scrapbook out of pictures you provide. So I dug around for some old, but original, photos of us. I specialized both books with our memories. Ally's has pictures of all of us but mostly pictures of me and her. Same with Drew except more of me and him.

Luckily they both loved and appreciated the gift. Knowing my weakness Ally bought a shitload of unhealthy sugary candy for me. Lastly, coincidentally Drew gave me a simple but stunning silver bracelet. Which Ally pointed out matched my new necklace from Cody. It's almost like those two coordinated their presents.

Since we have two weeks of freedom- also known as Christmas break, we optimized it to the fullest. Tonight's agenda is a relaxing movie night with Ally. Except movies with Ally tends to be more gossiping and chatting than watching.

"We need to go dress shopping tomorrow." She starts again.

"Why?" I tear my gaze from the chick-flick to my best friend. "I already have dresses."

"Exactly, but they're just dresses," she states in a 'duh' tone. "You need the dress. New Years is special and only happens once a year."

I narrow my eyes at her suspiciously. "This is your way of trying to convince me to spend money on something I don't need, isn't it?"

She innocently flutters her long lashes. "Is it working?"

I laugh at her pathetic act. "Fine, I'll go waste money with you tomorrow. Since you asked so nicely."

My answer actually shut her up and we were able to finish the movie with minimal distractions.

After waking up Ally convinces me to grab breakfast at the mall. She wanted to hit the stores early.

If you can consider ten am early.

Eating my blueberry muffin it kicks a bit of energy into my body, making me look a little less like a zombie.

"-how does that sound?" Ally finishes cheerful as ever.

I blink and quickly nod my head. "Sure, sounds great."

She and I both know she knows I wasn't paying attention but she carries on. The minute I've finished my last crumb I'm left with just enough time to throw my trash away before being dragged to the first store.

Here we go.

The only way malls are somewhat bearable is with my trusty partner. Which sadly Ally banned to come along 'cause she insisted on girl time.

The hours pass by gruellingly with various dresses and party outfits tried on. Finally Ally found a forest green romper, the legs flow and accentuate her height making her look taller. Not too mention it has pockets.
