Just remember this is a draft, so the plot won't be exactly seamless. Bear with me lol. Also just in case you haven't noticed I have published the prologue of my newest idea. It's a werewolf story called Alpha's Girl.

Harley
"Ugh, why do I even come here?"
"To obtain a proper education that will increase your chances of success in the work world."
"No," Ally groans loudly. "Stop using such big words, you know I can't handle those until the afternoon."
Grabbing the books that I need for history I slam my locker shut. Ally's slow body lazily trails mine looking like it's about to drop like a sack of potatoes any minute. Tyson's thank you to Ally for bailing his ass out was messing with her alarm clock. But instead of not waking up on time, he set it to ring ever hour.
Thank the heavens I don't have a brother.
When we're trying to walk into history Brittany and her minions appear out of nowhere and she sends a hard shove into my shoulder, followed by a hateful glare.
"So mature." I mutter under my breath. Ally quietly giggles beside me as we go to our desks. Sitting down Drew eventually joins us too. He had soccer practice earlier this morning as his coach likes to randomly organize them. Something about making sure they're ready to perform at all times, in all conditions.
History passes by pretty quickly, just uneventful things about dead people- oops sorry, I mean my ancestors. When the bell rings the three of us pack up, luckily avoiding little miss drama queen and her gang.
I'm interrupted in my dash to the food when my phone buzzes.
Cody: meet me by the school picnic tables?
"Ooh looks like you've got a date!" Ally squeals beside me. "Hurrry up you better go."
"Okay okay," I laugh barely stumble at her attempts of pushing me.
Pocketing my phone I rush out of the school's back doors towards the grassy area. Immediately I spot Cody casually sitting on one of the wooden benches with a large picnic basket resting next to him.
"Hey," he greets me with a lobsided smile. Only a trace of his signature cocky smirk lingers. "I know it's a little cold but would you like to join me for a picnic?"
"I'd love to." I smile at his charming antics.
Deciding to sit on the same side as him I help him set out the food. He packed various little sandwiches, and some fruit. What catches my eye though is the next plate he brings out. Or more what the food spells out.
Will you be my girlfriend?
Shocked I look up at Cody's nervous face.
"I really like you Harley. I know we haven't known each other for a long time but, will you be my girlfriend?"
Without having to think I respond. "Yes."
Instantaneously I'm engulfed in a big hug as my body is squeezed to his warm one. He pulls back slightly looking into my eyes. I search his grey eyes and find nothing but sincerity.
"Is it okay if I kiss you?" He breaths out in barely a whisper.
In a trance I nod my head already meeting him halfway. His lips are warm and soft, making my previously cold body warmer.
Gently breaking the kiss Cody's face brightens with a charming smile. "Shall we eat?"
"We shall." I grin.
Stabbing a block of cheese from the 'w' in will Cody brings it to my lips.
"Try this one, at one of the fancy galas my parents forced me to go to I found this. It became my favourite and saved me from my boredom." He chuckles lightly.
I oblige I take the little block off the stick. I'm surprised by the flavours in my mouth, who knew cheese could taste so good?
"Wow." I say dumbfounded. "You're right that is really good."
He flashes me his set of white teeth. "Told you."
The rest of the lunch hour we just chatted and ate the delicious food. I need to seriously get Cody to tell me where I can buy this food.
Cleaning up our dishes Cody says he'll pick up the basket after school. As we both have bio for our next class we walk together. Easily migrating into the flow of students we float down the crowded halls.
Cody leans down to my ear so he doesn't have to shout. "Laney's birthday is coming up and wants to know if you'll come to her party?"
When the endearing, and energetic, six year old pops into my mind I can't help but smile. "Of course, I'd love to! When is it?"
"This Saturday at eleven o'clock."
Before I have the chance to answer I hear the distinctive sound of high heels clicking loudly. I internally groan wanting to just peacefully get to my biology class.
"Hey Cody," Brittany attempts to be seductive, twirling a piece of hair on her long acrylic nails. "Why are you still hanging out with this ugly bitch? She isn't forcing you is she?" She gasps overly dramatic.
Cody wears an expression of disinterest and annoyance. "Don't call Harley that. And no, she isn't forcing me to do anything."
Again she cuts us off from passing, trying to convince the blonde haired boy beside me. "I know you miss me, remember how much fun we used to have?"
He lazily raises a brow, his signature smirk slipping on. "What fun? I don't recall any of that."
His face remains in a stone cold poker expression as he grabs my hand leaving her spluttering. I wouldn't be surprised if smoke started steaming out soon too. The minute we turn a corner however he bursts out laughing, earning a few glances from people walking by.
Yes I know people, he's weird.
"She's so easy to piss off." He slowly regains composure.
I stifle a laugh. "Agreed, the bleach must have gotten to her brain."
I then notice two things. One, we had arrived at our bio class and people were looking at us weirdly. And two, he had been holding my hand the entire time, and I liked it.
