Here we go things are finally getting a bit juicier.

Harley

"What about this?"

"Nah," she shakes her head. "I'm not really digging it."

"This?" I hold up a different outfit.

"He said casual not fancy."

Shrugging I hang the clothing back up. "I don't know, I've never worn this before so I have no clue if it's even comfortable."

Ally sighs wistfully. "I wish I had a mother that randomly bought fancy clothing for me."

I snort still rifling through my closet. "I wish I had a mother that randomly baked things."

"Fair enough," she agrees nodding.

After saying no to two more options Ally leaves my walk in closet to flop onto my bed. Draping her limbs out mimicking a starfish, she looks dwarfed among the poofy comforter.

"You should just go in sweatpants, they're casual." She grumbles staring at my white ceiling.

"I'm not wearing sweatpants." I say indignantly. "It's not a date if you're wearing sweatpants. You never did tell me why you're so against this date..." I raise a brow questioningly.

"Well," she starts, raising to sit in a criss cross position. "I'm helping you pick an outfit right now so that must mean something."

"Hah, as if."

After another long twenty minutes of searching we finally both agree on something. Once I'm showered I slip on the white tee then the black leather jacket over it. I pair it with some lightly faded blue jeans.

Right at six o'clock the doorbell rings making me scramble to grab my stuff. I leave Ally in my room to do whatever and jog downstairs to hear the voices of my parents. My mom insisted on being here for this date.

"Hey Cody!" I butt in, rescuing him from the wrath of both my mom and dad.

"Hey Harley," he smiles. "You look beautiful."

"Thanks," I study his appearance. "You're not too shabby either."

"Remember the rules Harls," my dad calls as we walk towards the car. "No drugs, no alcohol, no getting pregnant-"

"Dad!" I yell feeling heat rushing to my cheeks. "We've already been over this!"

My father's laughter is muffled when Cody closes the passenger door for me. I put my seatbelt on while he rounds the car to the driver's side.

"You going to tell me where you're taking me this time?" I question the minute he's backing out of my driveway.

"I guess," I shoot him a shocked look. "It's going to take a bit longer to get there."

"So? When you're dying of suspense everything seems to take a bit longer." I retort.

"Do you want to know where we're going or not?" He chuckles.

"Fine." I huff.

"Why does unhealthy food always taste so much better?" I sigh eating the last of the fries I ordered.

Popping one into his mouth to he nods his head. "Agreed. If they made fruits and vegetables taste this good I might actually be a healthy person."

Laughing we quickly finish up then throw out our fast food containers.

"You ready to kick some ass now?" Cody slings an arm over my shoulder.
