I decided to go watch Gally get banished. It would be the last time I would ever see him and I wanted to see his guilty face for all the shit he's done the past year.
All the keepers and a few other people held their staffs as the maze doors started to close. Gally was screaming and crying for them to stop, but I never once heard him say sorry.
"PLEASE, I'LL BE BETTER! ALBY, DON'T DO THIS! BANISH AUGUST! HER USELESS SELF DESERVES TO BE DEAD!"
I wasn't hurt by this anymore. I was used to it. I knew I deserved it. This was my fault. Gally continued to scream at me as the doors were closing. They were almost closed when he said something that I'll never forget.
"You promised August!"
