I was careful with every step I take. Everyone in the dorm is already asleep. It's almost 11PM but for us, the night is still young.
As I got outside the dorm and walked down the small set of patio stairs, I saw Lucho inside his van with Reika and RIley. All had wide grins on their faces while looking at me from head to toe.
I shook my head and laughed at their reaction. I wore my little red dress and stilettos. I tied my hair into a bun and put on my hoop earings too. I even wore my special necklace, the necklace that's been in our family's heirloom. I don't care about what people is going to say anymore. My heart is so heavy and I just want to party this out of system.
"My my! Looking like a hoe for the night!" Reika teased me as I sat on the back seat with her.
"And you still look like a goth queen!" biro ko nalang pabalik. She's sporting her usual all-black attire, black shorts, croptop, and denim black jacket. It's a good thing her make-up is light and pinkish otherwise she'd pass up as a 2018 emo queen.
"No one's seriously gonna complement my outfit?" pagpaparinig ni Riley na nasa front seat, deretso ang tingin sa dashboard. Natawa nalang ako. He looks so sexy wearing his satin red polo naka-kalas ang butones pababaa sa dibdib niya.
"Baby, I told you already! You are the most handsome man in Filimon Heights!" Tudyo ni Reika sabay halik sa dalawang daliri niya saka ito dinampi sa pisngi ni Riley.
Nagulantang ang bakla at parang uod na tinapunan ng asin kung makapag-react.
"Ewww!" Halos magtitili si Riley dahil sa pandidiri kaya pabilis kong tinakpan ang bibig niya. Baka maaya magising pa ang mga nasa dorm.
"Floor it, Lucho!" utos ko at natatawa namang pinaandar ni Lucho ang van.
"P, what happened to your face?" biglang tanong ni Reika sa kasagsagan ng byahe namin.
"Halata?" I couldn't help but sigh. There's a scratch near my eyelid at sa totoo lang pakiramdam ko'y magkaka-pasa ako rito, ito kasi ang tinamaan ni Apollo kanina. Tinakpan ko ng make-up, kaso mukhang di parin pala sapat.
"Anong nangyari diyan, Pie?" tanong ni Lucho na napasulyap sa amin mula sa rear-view mirror.
"May nang-away sayo?" bulalas naman agad ni Riley.
"I just hit my head," palusot ko nalang.
"Just wear this," wika ni Reika at nagulat ako nang bigla niyang inilabas ang isang eye-patch mula sa loob ng maliit niyang sling bag.
"Why the hell do you have an eye patch on your bag?" tanong ko.
"Just wear this," aniya at siya na mismo ang nagsuot nito sa akin kaya napabuntong-hininga nalang ako.
