I stared at the last message I sent him. It's been four days and he still hasn't replied. Will I seem like a clingy girlfriend if I tell him na nagtatampo na ako? Four days na kasi siyang walang paramdam eh. Kung sino-sinong kaibigan na niya ang mga tinanong ko at sabi, okay naman daw si Apollo pero busy lang talaga.
"Piper, hide your phone. Kanina pa masama ang tingin ni prof sa'yo." Stacy whispered, she's just sitting right beside me while casually flipping the pages of her textbook.
I sighed as I hid my phone on my pocket. I tried to focus on the class but I just can't. Thoughts of Apollo kept haunting me; on how he's doing or how he's feeling. He's too secretive that it's bothering me.
"Valverde." Sambit ng prof kaya bigla akong kinabahan.
"He's just handing out our exam results from yesterday." Walang kaemo-emosyon namang sambit ni Silver na nasa kabila ko.
I sighed and stood up. I walked towards our professor but as I held my paper, he looked up at me with sheer disappointment in his eyes. "I expected more from you."
Kinabahan ako bigla sa sinabi niya at nang tingnan ko ang score ko, nalaman ko kung bakit.
"14 out of 100 items? Psh!" Braylee shook her head with a smug. "Wala 'yan sakin! I once got 100!" She proudly announced with head held high sabay talon at higa patungo sa kanyang kama.
"Perfect score?" Napahawak si Riley sa dibdib niya, gulat.
"No! 100 wrong answers!" Braylee giggled as her shoulders rose up and down like she's being electrocuted from her own giggling. "110 items eh tapos 10 lang yung score ko. Nangopya pa ako nun ha!"
Hindi ko napigilang matawa. Parang naalala ko 'to. I think it happened when we were still on our first year. Nangopya si Braylee kay Lucho, sabi kasi ni Lucho siya raw ang bahala kay Braylee.
