(FHS#2) You better watch out, you better not cry, and you better not fall cuz the f*ckboys just waged a war against Filimon Height's one and only sorority.

"Piper? Piper papasok ako ha?"
When I heard Braylee's voice from outside my room, I hurriedly wiped my tears and swallowed my sobs but no matter what I do they just won't stop. I wanted to look okay right in front of her but my feelings have overtaken me. I couldn't even stand up from the floor, all I did was just sit in the corner of my room and cry like the pathetic fool that I am.
And before I know it, the door suddenly opened. Braylee was already crying as she ran towards me. She sat right next to me and hugged me tight. "Piper, tahan na," she cried and I ended up crying louder.
After reading Apollo's message and not getting any response from him, I asked Cohen to take me to my Dad's house. Dad is busy so I thought staying here in our house would be better to nurse a heartache rather than stay in our dorm and risk being seen in this state.
"A-anong ginagawa mo rito?" I tried hard to speak even if I was already having trouble breathing from crying so much.
"Cohen called me! He said you were a mess! Ano bang nangyari? Teka, tatawagan ko si Riley----"
"No! P-please don't." I begged Braylee as I held her arm with my shaking hands. She looked at me questioningly as her tears continued. "He'll just blame me for not listening to him. He'll just gloat at the fact that he was right about Apollo."
Riley warned me about this; about how dangerous it is risking my heart over a boy who is a thousand miles away from me. Both, Riley and Braylee warned me about how unfair it is to wait for someone even if our relationship hasn't even been established to begin with. To them, our arrangement was a heartbreak waiting to happen but I never listened because I thought his promises were enough.
Braylee would never gloat, but Riley is different. His reaction will just destroy me more.
"W-what did Apollo do?" Braylee asked; her voice filled with fear.
I couldn't bring myself to tell the whole story so I just handed her my phone.
"No...." After letting her read his last message, Braylee pouted uncontrollably as she sobbed louder and harder. She hugged me so tight by the waist and buried her face on my shoulder. "I'm here. I'll listen. Just don't deal with this alone, okay?"
I nodded as I hugged her back.
"Why are they doing this to us?" I heard Braylee whimpered. "Ang sama nila! Akala ko iba si Apollo kay Denver! Pare-pareho lang sila!"
I cried and poured my heart out with Braylee by my side. Both of us, in the same situation. Both of us, hurt by the people we love.
