"7pm tonight, don't be late! Isusukat mo pa yung dress para bukas! Pakita ka lang sa jowa mo tapos alis na!" Riley screamed as I got out of the car.
"Yeah..." I jokingly rolled my eyes as I closed the car door shut. I winked at Riley and even gave him a flying kiss kaya naman agad napangi ang bakla at umarteng nasusuka.
"Bye, Ri! See you tonight." I said as I laughed, taking a few steps back while waving my hand at him.
Riley rolled his eyes. "By the way, welcome back." And with that he drove away. Knowing Riley, that's just his way of saying he missed me. Well, same with me.
I've been gone for almost a month. I only got to call and text them for an hour every weeked while I was in that private facity. I felt homesick a couple of times but the people in that facility have been quite friendly and welcoming. I was never a patient in that place, instead I was a mere resident in their humble community. They were able to help me process some pretty difficult stuff about myself and my past. It was a healing experience.
I turned around and found myself standing right in front of Apollo's restaurant. I really missed that guy. I wonder how he's doing.
"Ma'am! Long time no see! Buti po at nakabalik na kayo." Bulalas ng guwardya nang makita ako.
"Shhhh.." I couldn't help but laugh. "Saan boss mo?"
"Nasa opisina niya po ma'am. Subsob po lagi sa trabaho." Sabi pa ng guwardya kaya nag-alala tuloy ako. Baka mamaya hindi na naman yon kumakain nang maayos sa sobrang pagta-trabaho.
Patungo na sana ako sa opisina ni Apollo nang makasalubong ko ang waiter na may dala-dalang isang tasa ng kape.
"Para kay Apollo?" tanong ko agad.
Nag-angat ito ng tingin at parang gulat na gulat nang makita ako. Mukhang tuwang-tuwa pa. "Uy ma'am totga! welcome ba--"
"Shhhh" I jokingly pressed my finger up my lips and gestured him to give me the cup of coffee.
Tumango-tango ito at ginaya pa ako at nag "sshhh" din. Pangiti-ngiti nitong inabot sa akin ang tasa ng kape.
I knocked on Apollo's office and entered without saying anything. I found him sitting on his desk, all of his attention is on the laptop right in front him. He's got the same frustrated look just like before while wearing his round specs and his hair in a tousled mess. His elbow is up the table as his fingers are up his jaw.
"Paki lagay lang, salamat" Apollo said and pointed at the side of his table, without even looking away from his laptop. He sounded like he was in a bad mood but he was still able to express gratitude. What a cutie.
