It's still Braylee's birthday. After having dinner, niyaya namin siyang manood ng sine. Since it's her special day, siya ang pinapili namin. Kaso halos abutin kami ng isang oras para makapagdesisyon kung ano ang panonoorin kasi gusto ni Braylee na kami ang pumili imbes na siya. Ayaw din naman naming pumili kasi gusto namin siya ang masusunod kahit sa araw na'to lang. But Braylee will always be Braylee, Kayo ang bahala lang talaga ang lagi nakukuha namin sa kanya. Sa huli, ako na mismo ang pumili. Knowing Braylee, gustong-gusto niya ang animated films kaya yun na lang.
Naiinis parin ako sa tuwing nararamdaman ko ang kirot sa labi ko. Naalala ko na naman kasi ang Cohen na yun. It's a good thing being with my friends makes me calm. It's also a good thing that the small scratch on my lower lip is unnoticeable.
"Bili muna ako ng ticket," sabi ko at kanya-kanya sila ng kapa sa bulsa nila. "It's on me," sabi ko bago pa man sila makakuha ng pera.
"Aba rich kid!" Pang-aasar ni Warren kaya napairap ako. I really want to glare at him kasi baka kung ano pa ang mabulgar niya pero baka mas lalo lang silang ma-curious. I love my friends but there's just some things i'd rather not talk about.
"Yes! Libre!" Lucho cheered happily.
"Ako na sa popcorn and drinks!" Warren declared with a grin.
"Ako na ang bahala sa kagandahan!" Riley proudly said making us all cringe, well except for Braylee. Braylee supports everything that we claim especially when it involves boasting.
"P," Braylee pouted na para bang nag-aalangan. As usual, she's conscious about me paying for everything again. I'm the one who keeps on reminding her to be thrifty so I guess it's my fault why she's hesitating.
I shook my head and walked towards the movie counter to buy some tickets. The queue is pretty long, there are still 8 people before me. As I waited, Warren suddenly approached me.
"Palit tayo, ikaw nalang sa popcorn," Warren said in his usual gentle manner. See this is why I fell for him, he's too gentle and kind. It's a good thing i've mastered the art of hiding my feelings otherwise he'd now how badly smitten I am towards him. It's a good thing i'm over him too.
"Ha? Bakit--"
"Hindi ako marunong pumili ng popcorn." He chuckled so I jokingly rolled my eyes. They're always like this when we're eating outside, Lucho and Warren are often the ones to sit while us girls will order. That includes Riley.
