Chapter Seven

-Hayes POV-

It was about nine and the park had just closed.

We all piled into our seperate cars and headed back toward home.

Tessa got in the other van with Mahogany, Jack and Jack, and Matt. And I pile into the other with Cameron, Nash, Carter, and Taylor.

The whole way back I stare out the window thinking about the "Tayes" incident. Ever since we finish feeding the tigers Tessa hasn't talked to me once. She stayed on the other side of the group with Mahogany the rest of the time we were there.

Even though I was shy about the "Tayes" thing, to be honest, it made me smile just thinking about it. Even though I don't have feelings for her. Right?

"Hello?!?" Someone says waving a hand in front of my face.

Jolting up, I turn to see Cameron looking at me oddly.

"Daydreaming again? Geez you do that a lot lately." He scoffs leaning back in his chair.

Nash and Carter turn and look at me from the seats in front of us after hearing Cameron.

Nash smiles at me and I know what he's going to say.

"Don't." I say as he opens his mouth. He pouts and turns back toward the front.

Cameron smiles at me, then leans next to my ear. "I have to admit, she is pretty."

I nod, smiling, then turn back to my window when my pocket buzzes.

I lift up my phone and almost jump at what I see.

Message From Tessa

Looking up from my phone, Cameron is joking around with Nash. Tilting my screen I open the message.

Tessa

Hey

I quickly text her back.

Me

Hi

Tessa

Hey! Sorry to bother you. I just needed all the boy's numbers, I'm sending them all the pictures from today.

I quickly type in all the boys numbers and send them to her.

Tessa

Thanks. I'll send them to you too! :)

Me

Okay thanks.

I shut off my phone and sigh. I didn't want that conversation to end no matter how pointless it may have been...

-Tessa's POV-

After we pull in the drive way, we quickly pile out and gather around the cars.

"Let's meet up around the fire in about twenty to thirty minutes!" Carter says before heading off toward his condo.

We all nod and head off toward our condos.

I comb out the knots in my hair then lie on my bed staring at the ceiling, exhausted from running around today when a thought enters my head.

Tayes....

I had stayed cool when that happened, but inside I was almost screaming.

I like Hayes, but just as a friend. And that just something the fans made up because that's what fans do.
