Chapter Eight

-Tessa's POV-

I wake to the uncomfortable feeling of someone jumping on top of me.

Moaning, I pull my blankets over my head.

"Come on! Get up!" A high-pitched voice says shaking me. Mahogany.

"Whaaat?" I groan as she yanks the covers off me.

"You've been here for over two weeks and I haven't taken you on a shopping trip yet. Get up. Let's go!" She says standing next to me.

I look up and see that she's completely dressed and has already put on all her makeup.

"What time is it?" I ask reading the clock. 6:47.

"Why in the world are we up this early?" I ask sitting up.

She laughs. "Apparently you don't know who I am. We have to get there early to dodge the fans. Or we'll never get done. Now hurry! We leave in twenty." She says then exits the room.

Sighing, I walk over to my dresser and put on a short light coral skirt with a white tang top and a jean jacket with white converses.

I curl my hair and put on a little mascara and grab my small black purse and head out. I look like a girly girl but I want to look nice.

Mahogany sits in my kitchen digging through my fridge but slams it when I enter.

"Where's all your food?!" She asks.

I smile. "I rely on you for food!"

She laughs and nods. "Yeah I buy food all the time. I have a problem."

I laugh when a thought crosses my mind.

"Um... Speaking of problems, what was with that picture on Twitter? I wasn't a fan of it." I say trying to sound serious.

Mahogany stares at me for a second then laughs.

"Come. On. You've got to be kidding! You two are perfect for each other! And don't act like you don't like him. I saw the way you looked at him in the sand. And believe me, he adores you." She says logging into Twitter.

I blush. "Stop it Mahogany! I don't like him! He's just a.... really cool guy friend." I say knowing it sounds stupid.

Mahogany smirks. "Yeah. Whatever. But to me, you two were made for each other. Now come on I hear our driver." She says grabbing her purse and skipping out the door.

I follow her out and our driver opens the door for her.

"Wait. Randy, can you take our picture? I think we look cute today!" She says handing him her phone. He nods and turns on her phone.

I stand next to Mahogany and smile as he snaps a picture.

"There you go ladies. Now where am I to take you today?" He asks handing Mahogany her phone.

"To the mall." Mahogany answers climbing into the car. I crawl in after her. Randy nods "hello" as he shuts the door for me and hops in the front seat.

"Okay. So we're going to get you a whole wardrobe today okay? I like what you have but you don't seem to have a lot of that." She says putting her finger on her chin.

I laugh. "Okay Mrs. Shopping Expert! Get me what I need!" I say as we pull out of the driveway toward the mall.

We arrive at the mall, we get out and three other men in suits approach us.

"Tessa, these are who will be carrying our bags." Mahogany says.
