Chapter Twenty-Five: You Are Not, And Will Never Be, Alone

After the fight, Naruto and Hinata went back to his apartment. Hinata went straight to bed but Naruto sat in the floor next to the bed.

"Naruto," she sat up,"come on. You need to sleep," she placed her hand on his shoulder and he grabbed it. He squeezed her hand, not lovingly, but like he was going to break it. "Naruto? Naruto stop that hurts," her voice was calm but also frantic,"Naruto!"

He stopped and looked at her,"Hinata," he got up off the floor and sat on the bed next to her. He never looked away from her,"Hinata."

"What? What is it? Naruto tell me," Hinata grabbed his hand with both of hers.

Naruto looked down at their hands and crawled over to her. He crashed his lips onto hers and lowered her down slowly.

"Naruto," she broke free but he captured her quickly. Naruto ran his hands around her back and pulled her body to him as he towered above her. Hinata pressed her hands against his chest. She tried pushing him away but he was stronger. Naruto dropped her body back to the bed and worked his hands to her waist. He broke the kiss and started pulling her shirt up.

"Naruto," he didn't stop,"Naruto!," she shouted. He stopped and looked up to her. She saw his eyes were red instead of blue.

He sat back,"Hinata I...," he looked down at her, his eyes back to blue and she got on her knees then wrapped her arms around his waist,"Hinata I'm.. ," he put his arms around her.

"Stop. Just stop," Hinata pulled him close and rested her head on his shoulder,"It's okay," he started crying and Hinata hugged him tighter.

"Hinata. I'm sorry," he leaned into her," I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," he apologized over and over.

Hinata was tearing up, but she kissed his cheek and placed a hand on either side of his face and made him look at her,"It's okay Naruto. It's alright. Nothing happened," she smiled and sniffed.

"Please don't go. I didn't mean to. Please, Hinata you're all I have."

She looked into his eyes,"Naruto is that what this is about? I told you, I'm never leaving, never. And you don't just have me, you've got Iruka-sensei and Kakashi-sensei. All of your friends, too, Sakura, Neji, Shikamaru, Ino, Choji, and everyone else. Naruto you're not alone we are ALL here for you," she pulled him closer again hugging him as tears fell.

"Promise?," he wasn't crying anymore. Hinata was now, so he had to fix her.

"Naruto with all my heart I promise you, I will never, ever, leave you," she spoke slowly trying to keep her voice from shaking. She felt his arms get tighter around her. Hinata let her arms retract and placed her hands on his chest. She felt safe and protected,"Naruto," she looked up at him,"Don't ever think for one second you'll lose me," she rested her head on his chest. Naruto laid his head on top of hers. It was quiet and they stayed there, neither of them moved. Hinata had stopped crying and Naruto was constantly kissing the top of her head.

"Hinata," Naruto lifted his head,"I think I might know what happened there."

"What?," she looked up at him.

"Well you know how I have Kurama?," she nodded,"he is a fox after all and animals have instincts."

"Naruto I now about foxes. I did my research," she smiled.

"Okay so I just have a question," he blushed.

"What is it," she shrugged and layed her head back on his chest.

"Well...Hinata, are you on your period?," he blushed a deeper shade of red.

He still couldn't match Hinata's shade and she was glad he wore a shirt for once,"Yeah," she croaked out.
