Hinata knew she was dreaming, but she liked that dream. She saw her and Naruto together, he was Hokage and he was happy. She was happy.

Naruto saw Hinata smiling while she slept. He liked it when she smiled. Naruto sat up. He looked around his bedroom, noticing the clothes piled up. Hinata said she would,"take care of it as a way to pay him back for letting her stay here for so long."

Hinata was kind to him, and now that he thought about it she always was. Even when her clan members would pull her away, she would always look back.

"Seventeen," he said outloud. One more month and she would be eighteen. Legally that means-

"What are you thinking so hard about that involves numbers?," She sat up and wrapped her arms around him.

"I wouldn't worry about it," he smiled and looked at her over his shoulder.

"Okay," she drapped his arm over her and snuggled into his side.

"What do you want for your birthday?," he moved some hair from her eyes.

"I don't need anything," she looked up at him,"I have you don't I?," Hinata smiled and layed her head on his shoulder.

"There has to be something," Naruto removed his arm from around her and sat in front of her.

She shook her head, got up, and picked up the dirty laundry,"I told you I don't need anything," she disappered into the bathroom and put everything in neat piles.

"Come on Hinata. I want to get you something," he stood and leaned on the doorfacing.

"Naruto," she turned and faced him,"I don't need anything so don't worry about it."

"But I want to worry," he smiled.

"Alright I'll tell you what I want if you tell what you were thinking about earlier," Hinata put her hands on her hips.

"You don't need anything? Really don't?," he backed away from the door.

"That's what I thought," she passed him by and went out to the kitchen. He followed, sighing having just dodged a bullet.

"What do you want for breakfast?," she asked him.

"More ramen," he sat down at the table and rested his elbows on top.

"How did I know?," Hinata said as she started getting the ingredients out of the cabinets and fridge.

"Hey! Naruto!," they heard someone from outside yell. Naruto stood up and went over to the door. He opened it. Kiba stood there with Akamaru at his side.

"Hey," Kiba greeted them,"I need to talk to Hinata. Like, now," Akamaru barked his agreement.

"What's wrong Kiba?," she came over and Akamaru rushed pass the humans over to her.

"I think we better do this inside," he put his hands in his pockets.

"Sure come on in," Naruto stepped aside, letting him through. He closed the door behind him.

"Is everything okay with Ruma?," Hinata asked from the kitchen.

"Yeah," Kiba came in and sat down at the table,"As good as they'll get I guess."

"What does that mean?," Naruto sat down in his seat again.

"She hasn't been feeling well lately. She says it's just a virus, but I'm not convinced," he laid his head on his arms,"I just don't know how to help her."

Hinata didn't turn around in fear of telling him everything Ruma wanted kept secret. She just continued making her and Naruto's breakfast.

"That's what I wanted to talk to you about Hinata," he lifted his head.
