Naruto awoke to find Hinata sleeping with her arms wrapped around him.

He smiled and as she breathed he could hear her. It was quiet then he remembered Sasuke was going to have her for two more days. Naruto put a hand on her cheek.

Hinata shifted a little appearently startled in her sleep. He chuckled. She buried her face in his arm and pulled him closer to her.

"Hinata," he ran his fingers through her hair.

"Hmmm?," was her muffled response.

Naruto wrapped his free arm around Hinata, grabbed a hand full of her hair, and smelled her lavender scent.

"How long have you been up?," he asked and she giggled.

"Long enough to wish I wasn't," her answer muffled still. She lifted her head releasing his arm.

Hinata smiled, but her eyes were still closed,"Do I have a specific time to come home today?"

"As soon as you leave," he smiled and kissed her softly.

"Sounds like a good idea," Hinata slowly drifted off back to sleep.

'Hina-chan,' Naruto thought about her leaving him, 'please dont ever ever go,' he wrapped her up and pulled her closer till their chests were touching. Hinata uncosiously blushed making Naruto kiss her.

"I love you Hina-chan." He thought aloud.

Kanai and Shikamaru stood at the front counter of the hospital. Shikamaru was signing a paper and Kanai was tugging on his arm trying to get him to hurry up.

"Come on Shika do that faster!," she whined.

He signed his name and put the pen down,

"Done," he turned to her and she smiled.

"Alright now let's go!," she pulled him out the door as he waved to the girl at the counter.

When they got outside she jumped on his back,"FREEDOM!," she screamed pumping her fist in the air.

Shikamaru laughed at her then it faded away. He sat her on the ground and turned around to face her,"Kanai can you go home by yourself this time?"

"What? Why would I do that?," her voice sounded hurt.

"I told the Hokage that I'd see her when I got out," he held her hand.

"Shika don't scare me like that. I thought you were cheating on me."

He chuckled,"I might be lazy but I'm still a good guy."

"Yeah yeah, go ahead see what Granny wants," she crossed her arms and walked

pass him. He cought her wrist and she turned her head back around only for her lips to meet his.

"Don't be mad I do live in the same house as you remember?," he smirked and she blushed at the sudden action.

"You idiot," she whispered, "don't do that without my permission."

Shikamaru let go of her wrist, "Well, I guess I'll see you at home."

"Okay," she said and starting walking twards the Nara home. Shikamaru started off to the Hokage's tower, walking twice as fast as normal.

Naruto was slowly waking up but he could hear voices. He was still to asleep to make them out.

"Come on Hinata you promised," the male whinned.

"But not right now. How long have you been here anyway? ," his girlfriend whispered and screamed at the same time.

Naruto thought it out as he was fully awake now, 'Okay so Hina-chan is yelling, but trying to keep her voice down, she's got a different voice, being assertive, she's either fighting Pein in my living room or arguing with Sasuke.' Naruto thought out all the points.

"Come on Hime," Naruto's eyes flew open as Sasuke continued, "you promised until Thursday!"

"Fine," she sighed," let me go get changed and don't you dare follow me."

He nodded and stood outside the door.

Naruto buried his head in Hinata's pillow again. As she came in she noticed him hugging it tightly.

She walked, almost ran, over to her boyfriend, "Naruto! What's wrong? Answer me. Naruto?"

As she tried to get him to speak Naruto clung onto the pillow tighter.

Hinata got up and went back to the living room. She walked over to the door, "Sasuke I'm sorry. I can't come with you today Naruto is sick," even her alter ego's voice sounded worried.

"But Hinata-," he stopped himself, "alright but you have to go somewhere with me Friday."

"Okay I don't care keep adding days because until he's better I'm not leaving him."

Sasuke smirked, "Whatever just don't forget you owe me a day."

Shikamaru knocked on the door to Tsunade's office.

"Enter," she said while looking out the window towards the hospital.

Nara entered and bowed.

"Shikamaru," she said, "Glad to see you're better. Now what did you want to talk to me about?"

"Thank you Lady Tsunade," he raised from his position, "I was going to talk to you about Kanai acctually."

"Oh? Just what about her?," she raised an eyebrow.

"It's about how she fought off those guys."

Tsunade's face became stern, "Continue."

"Well she had this Chidori."

"Yes," Tsunade smiled,"We know very much about her Chidori. Kakashi reported it from her first mission."

"Alright well...there was this other thing. I don't even know what to call it," Shikamaru put his hands in his pockets.

"Well what happened?," she slammed her hands down on the desk, "Shikamaru this is important. What. Happened."

His eyes were wide, "Kanai had an aura, blue so maybe chakra, but any person could see it. All she did was tell the guy to die and he started drowning on land."

Tsunade became worried, "Thank you. You may leave."

He bowed, left the room, then tower.

Back in Tsunade's office she had called Shizunne, Kakashi, and Kurenai in. They stood in front of her desk as she relayed the intel gathered from Nara.

"She is an Uchiha. But why doesn't she have the Sharingan?," Tsunade looked to Kakashi.

"If she was unaware of her blodline then there was no possible way she could know of her Kekkei Genkai. So she just hasn't awakened it yet," he spout off knowledge as if the eye were his own.

"Okay well just to be sure how would one awaken the Sharingan?," Kurenai seemed to be sceptical of the idea.

"That is something I have yet to discover. Only an Uchiha would know," Kakashi turned to Tsunade as he said the last part.

The Hokage turned to look out of her window. "Sasuke is the only living Uchiha we are positive is an Uchiha. Kakashi go fetch your student."

"Yes," he left the room followed by Kurenai.

"Are you sure you want to do this," Shizunne held her pet close.

"Yes. We need to know if she will be useful," Tsunade sat down at her desk and wrote down more info on Kanai.

"Lady Tsunade she sounds," Shizune paused,

"dangerous. Can't we just make her an ally?"

Tsunade stopped writing, "She already is. Kanai wouldn't dare harm a village Shikamaru is in."
