A child started crying in the Inuzuka household at seven in the morning.
Kiba got up and pulled his daughter out of her crib, "What's wrong Kiri?," he held her close.
"Is she hungry?," Ruma sounded from the bed, "She went to sleep pretty early last night; earlier than usual at least."
"Maybe," Kiba headed for the door and reached out for the handle, then froze. Akamaru started to growl from his spot at Ruma's feet. "Shh," Kiba took Kiri over and gave her to her mother.
"Kiba," she whispered, "What's wrong?"
"Shh," he put his hand over her mouth, "Quiet," he motioned for Akamaru to follow him and the big dog reluctantly got up, "Ready boy?" The white hound nodded his approval.
He reached out and turned the knob then yanked the door open, Akamaru charging into the hall.
"Kiba!," his sister yelled.
"Stop Akamaru," he groaned, "It's just Hana."
The dog walked up and circled around her, sniffing her. He whined and looked at Kiba.
"Yeah, she does smell different," he sniffed the air himself.
"I...got a new perfume," he could tell she made that up.
"Alright," he waved it off, "But now that we're all awake, let's eat," he took Kiri back as Ruma walked up beside him.
"Hey," she pouted, "Kiri is my baby too."
"No, she's daddy's girl," Kiba joked and walked pass his sister.
"Morning Ruma," Hana yawned, "I'll be asleep if you need me to help with Kiri."
"Alright," she laughed, "Sleep well," Ruma skipped pass her and made her way to the kitchen. She got into the room and noticed that Kiba didn't have Kiri, but across the room, his mother cradled her, letting her drink from her bottle.
Ruma wrapped her arms around his neck and he laid his hand on her arm.
"Morning Tsume," Ruma said lightly. His mother loved her granddaughter, but she was still iffy on Ruma.
"Good morning Ruma," she nodded.
Kiba frowned, "Be nice, mom."
"I am," she defended herself, "It's just early and I didn't get a good nights rest."
"I know that you still don't like Ruma," he shook his head.
"Kiba," she used a low voice, "You don't hav-"
"What makes you think that?," Tsume looked up from the baby's face.
"Mom, you told Hana that three days ago," he miraculously kept his voice down.
Ruma felt hurt on the inside, but didn't show it, "Kiba," she placed her hands on his shoulders, "It doesn't matter to me, okay? Besides, everyone is entitled to their own opinions."
"As long as you live under my roof, you'll have to deal with the hate," she frowned, "You don't mind do you dear?"
"I thought about that," Kiba stood up and walked around the island, taking Kiri out of her arms, "We're moving out tomorrow."
"What?," both women said at the same time.
"Yeah," he glanced at Ruma, "I got us an apartment. It's sort of close to where Naruto lives, so you can talk to Hinata a lot if you want."
"I guess you should start packing then," Tsume crossed her arms, not believing him.
"Yeah, we do have a lot of stuff now, don't we?," he started back towards his bedroom.
Ruma looked at Tsume before pushing off the back of the chair Kiba previously sat in and going after him.
"Are you serious?," she whispered in the hallway.
"Yeah," he nodded and went into their room, "It's got two bedrooms and it's cheap because no one else wanted it."
"Did it occur to you that there's a reason for it?," she smiled, thinking this is how the movies went all the time.
"Oh it occured," he laid Kiri in her crib, "I just didn't care."
"Right," she kissed him, "So, we're leaving?," he nodded, "Can I say something?"
"Of course," he covered up their baby.
"Your mom is really mean," she hugged him.
"I know. She scared my dad off," he wrapped his arm around her. That didn't set right in her mind, but she kept it to herself.
"Naruto!," Hinata yelled as he tickled her, "Stop! I can't take it!," she laughed until her eyes watered.
"Okay," he stopped, "I've totured you enough, I guess."
She slightly laughed and wiped her eyes, "Thank you."
He laid down beside her and rolled on to his side, "I'm surprisingly not hungry," he draped his arm over her stomach.
"Me neither," she shook her head and held his hand, "But," she pushed herself up and he rolled on to his back. She moved to sit on top of him with one leg on either side of his waist, "You need a shower," she leaned down.
"Really?," he smiled, "I need a shower?"
"Yes," she nodded, "Yes you do. You really do," she kissed him lightly.
"Will you take one with me?," he joked.
"Of course not," she smirked.
"Then I'll stay dirty," he grabbed her other hand.
Hinata rolled her eyes, "I have to go to the store."
"Why?!," he groaned.
"Because," she laughed, "We're almost out of eveything we own."
"Take a shower with me and I'll go with you," he boosted his offer.
She sighed and looked at the clock, "I will. If," she strained the if, "you kiss me and tell me you love me."
"I love you Hinata Uzumaki," he let go of her hands and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her down to him. He locked their lips together and took control to push her to her back, towering his body over hers.
He thought about what she said yesterday, about when he kissed her...what she felt like. He pulled away from her and stared down at her.
Hinata bit her lip and felt that knot in her stomach again, "What?"
"Nothing," he shook his head, "I just wanted to look at you," he grinned.
She blushed and reached up to grip his shirt in her fingers, "You're too nice to me."
"Well, I wouldn't want you to get mad and leave me," he kissed her forehead, "Plus you don't deserve hatred from anyone."
"You're doing it again!," she giggled.
"Doing what?," he put all his weight on his right arm and reached up with his left to play with her hair.
"Making me feel weird," she answered simply.
"What exactly is weird....to you...when I kiss you?"
Her blush slowly faded away, "I get a knot in my stomach, it's harder to breathe, my heart pounds faster, and I can't think until it's over."
"Hinata," he pushed her bangs back from her eyes, "How many kids do you want?"
"I don't know," she wrapped her arms around his neck and shrugged, "Maybe we'll know when we cross that bridge."
"Do you want a boy or girl?," he twirled her hair around his finger.
"A girl and a boy," she smiled.
"So you want at least two?"
Technically he was right, so he made observations and came to a smart, logical conclusion, "I guess, yeah."
He smiled and kissed her, "I have to go take a shower," he let her hair fall back to the matress and crawled off her as she let his shirt go.
She sighed as he walked into the bathroom and closed the door. Hinata sat up and looked at her hand, staring at her ring. She smiled and stood up, walking out to the kitchen to start her list.
