Two Ways

-Third Person POV-

School has ended.

"Hey, let's hang out today." Mark suggested as the four walked out together.

"I don't want to. I think I'm just gonna go home and finish some assignments." Misun said.

"That sucks. Come on, it'll only be for a little." Seulgi teamed up with Mark.

"I'm busy today. So have fun without me." Haechan said before he parted ways with the group.

The remaining three shared a look before Mark ran after his best friend. Seulgi turned to Misun and threw an arm around the girl.

"Looks like it's just you and me. Should we go get some food?" she suggested. Misun rapidly nodded. If it was food, Misun would never say no. The two walked to downtown Seoul and shopped around.

"So, are you and Haechan dating?" Seulgi asked as the two found a seat. "No. Why does everyone keep asking me that?" Misun groaned. "Like who?" Seulgi asked before taking a bite. "Well, just you and Mark." Misun let out a little laugh.

"Hey dude, what's up? Mark caught up to his best friend. "Nothing. I just have some things I need to finish." Haechan lied.

Truth was he didn't want anything like earlier to happen again. He needed to think of a way to hold himself back, and he only way was to distance himself from her.

"Bro, you're never busy. Just tell me what's up. Is it Misun?" Mark pushed on.

"Yeah, yeah it is hyung. For some odd reason whenever I wanna talk with Misun, you always happen to be there too. Do you like her or something? Or are you just trying to keep me jealous? Because it's working." Haechan snapped.

"I don't like her if that's what you keep thinking. I love her as a friend, but nothing else. You're my best friend, Haechan. Do you think I'd steal your crush? Maybe I'm a little clueless most of the time, but I know the difference between right and wrong. I also know the difference between what's my best friends' and what's mine. If you want me to back off, I will. This friendship goes both ways, because your my brother."
