heartbeat of the stars

august16twenty18

I could be a million different galaxies, if you'd only taste the comets pleading on my lips. begged many an eon for clementine touches to be graced across the wounds that will never heal, for maybe that hope and granted wish could solve the impossible.

brimming over with a plethora of forgotten stars, each one a desire to escape the solitude. they cluster up the sky and the night is blinded.

and maybe all a star represents is just another night found crying dry tears into a hollow chest. another clustered sky making vision fuzzy and rosy-eyed.

to think that rose tints were incoming, how could I have been so blind? a tug kept hope at bay, and now splits apart the seams ever so delicately that one is almost forced to turn away.

silent under too many starry skies, getting more crowded with every passing night.

oh how I'd long to feel the heartbeat of the stars.
