cyan sway

jan13twenty18

swaying so gently, as a broken shamble might. lend me some soul, sapped me of heart, my mind is a poisonous wasteland that few manage to trek through alive.

dead, dying, decadence. snapped at the core and forgotten about. all I ever wanted to do was flower into something pretty to look at. now I'm just a faded blur of deceasing petals.

soft, slow. I sigh into resignation, as I sigh into many other things, among those a life I trudge through every day. dreamlands are paradise, so much that leaving them leaves behind a sickness so potent that it is a miracle I make it through the day.

leave me be, leave me be so gently, swaying in the wind. taken away to a land where perhaps I could obtain a happy ending. leaning into colorful scents, smiling when she calls my name. remaining, I have been.

help me become one with the music that burrows into my bones, I walk with it. I feel you in every word. even still, as I'm intoxicated with blissful perfume. yes, even still - my heart is as blue as the oceans rolling deep within your eyes.

paused and fading - leave me be so pleasantly, for a lie I must lead to carry on.
