the lockbeat slip

august23twenty18

streetlights cast shadow upon a widowing brain as it meandered on by the roadside, heart still blazing.

so move, with a beat that keeps time spinning round and round. foot, leg, throw your body into the casualty. dedicate to the ruthless, to the sinfullest.

losing a beat ceases life. keeping time has never been harder left laying in the gutter, drowning in the wasted morning glow.

capturing some heat and taking it on the run to cripplingly realize that it has seemed out of your pockets, sand trail along the sidewalk. rush to butterfly net some more, but the gaps will be too easy to slip through.

beat. beat. dum dum dum. finding beats to replace your own is a feat accomplished only by virtuosos in the best ways.
