golden sparrow of paradise

preciously picked, delicacy ensued, what a tragedy should anything happen to you. shining bright as clearer days, shining raindrops anyways. your heart of gold is cracking thin.
wilting flower, gently lilting, to the sound of your oblivious demise. the softest songs bounce off of the tiles that frame your beauty. it's all expected.
crying flower, slowly dying, liar's bluff has sent you new. remain oh still, let grace remain, for it's stolen in a heartbeat. stay, stiff dancer.
twirling laughter curls up the sky, letting the light pass it by. we all smile, we're stuck in awe, you're the fairy-tale we've whispered of. except you're truer, striking deeper chords, and creating richer songs.
sing on, wilting flower, lilt on to the soft summer rain. lilt on even though you may be in pain. shine it through, and then maybe -
you'll finally see how strong you can really be.
