I was about to walk out the door to walk the kids to school until Erik called my name. "Brianna!" He said as I stopped and turned "yes Erik?" I asked as he walked up to me.
"Breakfast?" He asked as I rolled my eyes "come on I got to talk to Zariya's and Azari's teachers first" I said as he nodded. "Did you sign the form momma?" Zariya asked as I smiled and she smiled starting to jump around.
"What she jumping around for?!" Erik asked as we were walking them to school "she's going to try out for dance" I said "who?" He asked in a little laugh "me!" Zariya said as Erik laughed "your father let you?" Erik asked " she does have another parent and I said she can do it" I stated.
"Why are you so feisty this morning?" He asked "I'm always feisty this ain't nothing new" I stated
"You right why you so snappy this morning?" He asked "because I'm going to kill T'Challa real talk" I said as he chuckled "why don't you just talk to him?" Erik asked.
"I've talked to him about Nakia you seen how long that shit lasted and I did say something about Monica but I don't know what he's going to do" I said shrugging.
"Well I don't know what to say babygirl" he said "there's no need to say anything I'm grown I ain't fighting with no girl if that's what he wants to do that's what he wants to do the kids are old enough to understand" I simply said .
"You look nice" Erik said as I smiled "thanks" I said looking down at my outfit

as Zariya turned then looked at me "so let's talk about my sweet sixteen" Zariya said as I smiled "no boys" Erik said as I laughed.
"We'll start looking at dresses today after you come home from school" I said as we walked into the school. Zariya and Azari hugged me as I went to go talk to someone about Zariya trying out for dance. I signed some more papers and went about my business with Erik.
Erik and I went to a diner to eat breakfast, my stomach started growling as i was looking at the menu.
Erik chuckled "did you even eat your food last night?" Erik asked as I shook my head "no" I simply said as he looked at me and I felt his eyes staring at me.
"You drunk all that alcohol and didn't touch your food?!" He asked as I looked at him "Erik I ate some" I said "you ate like two forkfuls of food that's it" he stated as I rolled my eyes.
"Is that how you lost the weight?" He asked in all seriousness looking at me as I looked down "I was stressed and no I lost majority of it just starting off I wasn't eating a lot everyday" I admitted as he shook his head.
"Babygirl that's not healthy, how many meals did you eat a day?" He asked as I looked down at my lap.
"When I was in New York I only would eat like one meal a day" I said as he looked at me in shock.
"Does T'Challa know?!" Erik asked "no I wasn't talking to him at the time , I was upset I wasn't abled to have a baby and I had to go to work" I explained shrugging it off.
"Brianna that's not something you just shrug off" Erik said as I rolled my eyes "Erik I'm still alive stop tripping, I was stressed about a lot of things just drop it I'm here aren't I?" I asked.
"You right I'm just going to drop it but I'm going to tell T'Challa" Erik said pulling his phone out. "No" I said reaching over the table snatching it out his hands as he looked at me.
"Does Kaylah even know?" Erik asked "no , no one knows because it's not a big deal" I simply said "but your still doing it" he stated as I sighed rolling my eyes.
"You need help" he simply said "with what?! I'm happy and I'm healthy" I said smiling "Brianna what else have you been doing?" Erik questioned "Erik please just drop it" I pleaded "no because before you left you were stressed eating a lot now you come back and you're telling me you were even more stressed and only ate once a day and went to the gym" he stated
"After everything that happened with T'Challa and Nakia even though it was some time before I even left for New York I kept thinking about it" I started off
" I finally went to the doctors when I was in New York and they said I was an emotional eater and I needed to cut down. so I tried to cut down some and would eat like a granola bar or something a day to knock off the hunger and drink a lot of water to seem full" I explained.
"Bottom line is everything kept replaying and reoccurring in my mind with T'Challa and I started thinking certain things...now this shit with Monica is going on and I just- I don't know" I said shrugging as tears came from my eyes as I hurried up and wiped them.
"We can eat take out, but we need to get back to the palace and you tell me what's wrong with you because you know exactly what's wrong with you" Erik said handing me a tissue as I nodded.
We ordered our take out food and walked back to the palace.
