Dinner was over and the bill came so I hurried and snatched it reading $173.79
I felt a pair of eyes then looked up seeing T'Challa staring at me.

"You are so stubborn" he said "T'Challa please just let me pay for it" I begged I never would've thought to beg a guy to pay for our dinner. But with T'Challa he feels as long as he's with me I should never open a door for myself and when we go to dinner I should never pay the tab.

even on his birthday he pays that tab and I'm taking him out. But it was weird because Erik was the same way maybe it was just their fathers but the difference between Erik and T'Challa was T'Challa didn't care if I told him I was paying for it because at the end of the day he was going to pay for the tab.

T'Challa's my baby but I want to pay the tab only because he pays for everything and never ever complains. He doesn't find joy in me spoiling him but when he does it to me it's like Christmas for him.

He appreciates everything I give him and uses things like his beats but he lights up when he do things for me I hate it so much because I love him but it's like I don't know what to do or give him.

"May I see the tab please my queen?" He asked

"No" I simply said grabbing my clutch then grabbing my card. "Brianna" he said in all seriousness as I placed my card in the tab and closed it handing it to our waiter and smiled at T'Challa.

He pinched the bridge of his nose and leaned his head down. The waiter soon came back to our quiet table handing the card back to me and I placed it in my clutch as we soon left.

It was quiet really quiet T'Challa didn't say anything to me the whole entire ride back to our hotel. He was seriously upset and I didn't understand why. He paid for the movie.

We walked into the elevator and I started squeezing his hand playfully but he wouldn't budge he didn't even look down at me he just looked straight ahead.

I smacked my lips as the elevator doors opened "T'Challa are you serious?" I asked as he ignored me and unlocked our hotel room door.

We walked in as I closed the door and he was still ignoring me as was unbuttoning his shirt exposing his chocolate skin.

"T'Challa I don't understand why you have such a problem with me picking up a tab or opening a door for us or just doing things for you nice in general?" I said as he continued ignoring me but I grabbed his wrist and pushed him on the bed.

"Talk" I simply said folding my arms. "I have a reason why Brianna why can you not just let me do that for you?!" He asked

"Because T'Challa, you look after everyone else, you spoil me and I want to do the same but I don't ever know what to give you because you don't ever seem excited when I get you something but when you spoil me I'm happy and I want you to be happy and spoiled also" I explained

"But you won't let me do it" I added as he looked up at me "Brianna I do not want you to get me anything because I have everything I want which is you and you gave me kids which I want and who I love, Brianna just like you I am not materialistic I want you and your love that's all I can ask for" he explained as a tear came from my eye.

"W-what about the whole tab thin-" I was cut off as he stood up "I do that because everything you told me and everything you have been through, I feel you do not ever have to pay for anything because you have been through a lot and you deserve it, you are the mother of my kids you should not have to want or need for anything on that alone." He said before I wiped my tears.

"That is why I have a big problem on you buying thing for yourself or paying for dates" he stated as I looked at him.

"But sometimes you need to relax and let me do the same for you, just like I'm the mother of our kids you are the father of our kids and also a king ,the black panther, and my husband that's a lot to take on and you do it, it may not be perfect but you don't complain that's why I paid for dinner" I explained as he kissed my head.

"Let us compromise then" he said as I smiled and looked at him "I pay for everything and you give me more kids" he said as I laughed "you real funny" I said as he chuckled.

"How about we take turns with dates and if I see you look tired or worn out I'll take over" I said cheesing.

"What do you mean by take over?" He asked "I'll wear the suit" I said smiling "definitely not, no I pay for everything and you keep having kids" he said as I laughed.

"How many kids you think we're about to have?!" I asked as he smirked I cut him off before he could say anything "just let me take care of everything when you're worn out" I said as he gave an unsteady look.

"You are so stubborn you are going to do it anyway" he said as I nodded "yup and you'll be thanking me later" I said before kissing his lips.

"Half and half on dates, when I get you something you can give back something in return like you" he said with his head against mine smirking as I smiled.

"I promise after this baby and everything gets tied you can have all of me again" I said as he smiled "I love you" he said as I smiled "I love you too" I said before kissing his lips and feeling my feet not on the ground anymore.
