I watched Brianna as she walked in with Erik and smiled at her. She smiled back "You look cute baby" she said and kissed my lips as I smiled and kissed back.
"I know he looks so handsome" Monica said from behind me as Brianna pulled away and peeked behind me.
"Yes I know we just discussed that" Brianna stated as I gave her a look smirking "stop being mean" I lowly said to her smiling as she looked at me "I'm not, I'm doing exactly what I'm supposed to be doing" she stated as I smiled.
"Date night tonight?" I asked as I grabbed her hand interlocking my fingers with hers before kissing her hand.
"Mmmm now you want to act like I exist?" She asked as I chuckled "Brianna what movie do you want to see?" I asked "any movie it doesn't matter, just as long as I get what I want tonight" she said whispering the last part walking away as I smirked watching her.
"Erik you and Monica should get to know each other better" I said as Erik shook his head "Nah I got somewhere to be but I have to talk you about something important later" Erik said as he patted my back.
"Nice meeting you Monica" he said before walking out the palace doors. "Your wife doesn't seem very inviting Monica said as I chuckled "she acts like that at first but she is really sweet" I said .
"Whatever happened to Nakia I thought she was your girlfriend?" Monica asked as we walked.
"She was my girlfriend but it didn't work out and then I met Brianna and she was everything still is everything" I explained smiling as Monica smiled.
"That's Good you met someone you love and want to spend the rest of you life with. but I would've thought you would've stayed with Nakia" Monica said as I shook my head.
"Nakia was a handful once Brianna came and it showed her true colors and I could never be with her after everything that's happened" I explained.
"I thought we could've made it too" Monica said smiling as I did nervous chuckle. "We could have but you was in Georgia and I was out here handling things for my father" I said as she smiled
"Well how did you meet Brianna? because I'm pretty sure she's not from here" Monica asked.
"At a friends party in New York" I said smiling to myself "so you two did long distance?" Monica asked "I brought her back to Wakanda and she just never left after that" I explained.
"Hmm interesting, you brought her to Wakanda but couldn't bring me back?" Monica asked playfully but I knew she was not joking deep down she was hurt in some type of way.
"You had to handle things out in Georgia and I was grieving at the time over my father" I explained as Monica giggled.
"T'Challa it's fine because we all know I was the best women you had ever in your life" she said smirking then walked off as I watched.
All I could do was shake my head , I then walked upstairs to see Brianna taking off her heels. I came behind her holding her waist.
"You look beautiful" I said in her ear as she smiled "yes I've been told" she said looking back at me smiling.
I turned her around grabbing her waist and putting her against the wall. "Why are you giving me the cold shoulder?" I asked as she smiled "I'm not, I'm just being me" she said wrapping her arms around my neck as I smiled.
"Is it about Monica?" I asked as she shook her head "no it's the whole situation in general" she started off "I've been back for two days and you're just now making time for me, I know she's your friend or ex , whatever but I'm your wife I should've been the first person you made time for." She explained.
"Erik was with you to keep you company while I was gone with Monica and you have been really distant since you came back." I explained as she shook her head unraveling my arms from around her waist.
"You just don't get it" she said pinching the bridge of her nose. "Why are you being so dramatic? Monica is just an ex" i said as Brianna looked at me.
"I'm not being dramatic, Erik isn't my husband you are so he should've never been the one to keep me company, you should've been not some other man" she explained.
"You hang out with your ex all the time so why can't I do the same?" I asked
"I'm only hanging out with Erik because you are never no where in sight you always somewhere with Monica doing something" she stated
"Because I am a king I have to be places when somebody needs me" I said as Brianna looked at me then scrunched her face. "What about when I need you?" She asked as I seen the hurt in her eyes, I sighed grabbing her hands.
"I can't always tend to you Brianna, I am a king i have to tend to everybody in Wakanda" I explained in a calm tone as she nodded and took her hands from out of mine.
"You're right, you can't tend to me all the time I guess that's why Erik always tries to" she simply said walking out the room as I pinched the bridge of my nose.
I called Erik to the palace he arrived within a couple of minutes. "What's up?" He asked as we dapped up.
"I wanted to talk to you about Brianna" I simply said. "What about her?" Erik asked "she feels I do not tend to her" I stated "well in a way, you don't" Erik started off "but I'm not getting in the middle of it" Erik said.
"But I do have something important to tell you" he stated as I listened
