A storm is loosed upon the sea

Whose eye is stained with tears.

A wretch Hell-bound and bent on blood,

the makings of the fearful's fears.

The wind blows over the waves leaving a salty breeze in its wake, how long has it been, how long has it been since I sailed away from my home, my throne that crown I fought for with all my heart, how long has it been since I saw one of my commanders sacrifice himself for my safety for me to get away, I will never forget Cain face, when the arrow struck him, how the life drained from him. I have given up everything but trusting Ivar, I only hope he can keep his promise because I intend to keep mine...

The tide it stole away her grace,

the depths, they wouldn't claim her.

A toil begat by father's blood

This path was laid before her.

Ivar was not handling traveling very well but neither has Khal, I have seen them grow close, I look at them as both of them sit against the back of the ship, faces pale and sweaty, every now and the Khal would lean over the boat to throw up. Eilish walks towards me, she lets out a small smile. I look into her eyes as she looks at me

"We will return and avenge him, my Queen" she whispers to me as I look forward

Redemption borne by brigand's blood

A blight upon the darkness.

The pact embraced, a road unsought

The Maiden of Death won't be unwrought.

I sit back listening to the waves crash against the boat, night has fallen upon us, Evelyn smiles at me as she helps Khal, Ivar crawls towards me and sits down next to me.

"I'm sorry about your friend" he whispers at me, I let out as a sigh and lean my head against his shoulder, he leans back causing me to fall to his lap, he smiles down at me as I grin up to him.

"I'm sorry too" I whispered closing my eyes as Ivar plays with my hair

Her wrath is known throughout the black,

the gardens of death she is tending

Vengeance is her only ward

Beware the blood red rose's thorn.

I had fallen asleep, Images flash before my eyes, I am near a big old tree, I see a man with a cloak walking next to a woman in a cloak, Ravens and crows circle above me.

"Heed my words Child, You Kings wrath will end your future, for if he draws the blood of his brother Sigurd, your first born will  not be a child but a beast, a wolf, and it will lay dead in your arms"

I look down to my dress seeing blood stains between my legs, I hear a growl and beneath me, I see a beast, A bone-crushing scream escapes my lips as I jolt awake. As I awake faces fall to my vision, Ivar is first his face is showing worry.

"Morrigan" he questions, as I try to calm down, my breath is heavy and uneven, I look around bewildered clutching my stomach, there was no child, it had felt so real. I close my eyes and draw in a deep breath. I open my eyes finding Ivar looking at me in wonder, I dig my fingers into my palm as I stand, overlooking where we have arrived, I turn to Ivar who has a proud smile on his face,

"I can not wait for you to meet my mother," he says looking up to me, grabbing his crutches he raises himself up, when Ivar stood he was taller than me taller than most of the man I knew. People flood to the port because of our arrival, I cannot blame them if A fleet of ships were making their way to my home I would be. My eyes flash, something wasn't right, something felt wrong, I turn to Ivar

"Something's not right Ivar" I whisper to him as his two brothers approach us as we dock the ship, where was his mother, from the tales I hear Asluang loved Ivar, why would she not greet him at the docks as he arrives, "Ardan, only the commands and protectors come let the rest say back for now" I order to the dwarf who nods and yells out his commands. I narrow my eyes as we walk with Ubbe and Sigard, something felt wrong no something was wrong, we were being watched by everyone as we walked. Ardan looked up to me as I frown down to him, Ivar walks to my left with the help of his braches, I look to him and link my arm with his, with a sigh I hold my head up high.

"Where is mother," Ivar asks as we walk into a cabin, I wave away our commanders, they nodded and wait outside, Khal stood his ground next to his king as Ivar sat down, I looked around the room.

"Ivar, something happened, mother is dead Lagatha Killed her," Ubbe said to his brother, with a sigh I close my eyes by the goddess my poor husband fist his father than his mother. I hear his brother leave, I turn to Ivar, his face is emotionless. I look up to Khal and wave him away. With a sigh I kneel before Ivar, Ivar started forward like he was looking through me, his hands were clutched into fists, his hands were white, but I could see blood run through his fingers.

"My Queen," Ardan says I look up from Ivar, finding two women, the same woman who watched us

"Ivar, welcome back," A woman's voice said from behind them "Lagatha, wishes to see your lovely wife" I rose to my feet as the woman spoke, Ivar looked at her rage flashed in his face "Alone" Ivar wanted to protest but I held up my hand to him

"I will come to see this Lagatha but my protected accompanies me" I state walking to the woman as I spoke of Kai he was by my side, hand resting on his blade.

As we walk with the woman I take in my surroundings, I can see Kai doing the same, it looked like they were busy building, trying to protect the kingdom, but it was strange and different from our homes, our castles.

" Bidh na sùilean fosgailte, Kai, chan eil mi earbsach orra" ( Eyes open, Kai, I do not trust them) I whisper to Kai, who gives me a sharp nod, as we enter the place I assume was their castle, I see a blond woman sitting on a wooden throne, someone grabs Kai, my head snaps up

"Let him go," I say to the woman, I look back to the blond "Tell them to let him go"

The blond woman smiles at me and waves her hand, they let him go but takes his blade, kai curse under his breath and stand next to me, a little in front of me as to protect me. My eyes dart around the room, women stood with shield and spears, I place my hand on Kai's shoulder and stepped forward, the man follows not far behind.

"I am Lagatha, the Queen here and you are" I snort at her words, Kai took a breath but I held up my hand, I took a step forward as close as I could get to her

"You Lagatha, stand before Morrigan, the Shadow Queen, the daughter of death, conquer of tribes and wife of the boneless," I say holding my head up proud "But you should know my Husband Ivar the boneless, the boneless king, bringer of new gods, northern warrior and commander of all" I see the woman smirk as she stands, she walks to me and stands before me

"And what is your business here," She asks walking around me, looking at me

"I am here to help my husband avenge his father, but it seems I should help him avenge his mother first" In a flash I reach out to touch her arm, Image flash before me, Ragnar, she knew him no she loved him, she still does, I see a woman offer her a sword and a kingdom in return she wants to be let go, I see her shoot the woman with an arrow from behind,

'The death of a mother will birth to a monster' the goddesses words echo in my head, as I draw breath from leaving my vision. I let go of her arm, she can not be trusted, she killed a woman who gave up everything, in return she wanted to leave in peace...
