Punishment paid

  "You have until the tide turns Lagatha to give me the men or I will ransack your home to find them"  

Ivar:

I grin, enjoying seeing Lagatha search around in front of my lovely Queen, as she and her army stated strongly in the pale moonlight. Khal stands next to me, his face painted with red paint. Lagatha looks to me

"Speak to her" She screams at me, I let out a laugh

"And tell her what, to give up her laws, to give up on her people, I don't think so," I say crawling towards my Queen as Khal walks next to me, "Oh and brothers it would be best if you joined me, "I said laughing as I crawled.

Morrigan: 

I smile, as I see my king crawl towards me, I look towards the queen, narrowing my eyes as I stand strong and proud, I kneel to Ivar as he approaches me, I pull his crutches from behind me.

"Rise Ivar the boneless King, let's show her what power is" I hand him the crutches and help him to rise. As we rise, Ivar pulls my face to his and pulls me in for a kiss. this kiss is filled with passion and hunger. I pull away and look back towards the Queen, as I see Ivars brothers slowly walk towards us. Khal walks towards his brother and whispers something to them. I smile as both of them fall to their knees in front of me, I nod showing them to rise.

"You see Usurper Queen, even your people don't trust you, Time is running out Lagatha, give us the man" Ivar screams, I turn to him smiling, as his brother stands behind him.

"If the man comes forward what will you do to him" She screams back at us.

"If the man comes forwards freely, I will remove a pound of flesh as payment, if not I will cut off the hands that touched the sweet child" I scream back, shock hangs in the air, A man steps forward from the shadows, 

"It was me" he screams, the Queen walks to him, I look to Cara as she nods, tears in her eyes, I shake my head at her.

"Well come forwards, young man" I scream as the man walks towards us, I nod towards Cara as she slowly walks towards me, the girl looks to me as I nod, she screams and runs towards the man her spear in front, of her as she jumps on the man plunging her spear into the mans chest, blood splatters over her and the man and falls to the soft sands. The Queen Screams rushing towards the girl before she could kill the girl I caught her blade with my bare hands, it would seem I have appeared out of nowhere. blood drips from my hand as I look into the woman's eyes, shock and fear flash in her eyes

"Thank you for giving us the man, now leave us be Queen Lagatha because unlike my husband I will not give you a warning before killing you"I whisper pushing the woman back with my bloodstained hand.

" The punishment has been paid, what more do you want" I grin at the blond queen

"Nothing, all I ask is that know you leave us alone, we are not here for you, we are here for our king and the vengeance of his father, and one day his mother, for every time one off your men or woman, cross the camp lines, they will be killed and placed at your feet" I say to her sitting down next to Ivar, I look to him as he nods, by now I know some of our men had captured the woman guarding the front of this place, the laughing of her people must be very distracting to the Queen, I turn seeing Ivars, brother Sigurd play an instrument and sing a song, I see Kai look alert ready to pounce at any notice, the other was at camp, protecting it but also ready if thing go south. by now men would have found a way to black the door, in a flash Kai nodds the men jump into effect grabbing people left and right, holding bladed to thier troaths, a path was created for Ivar and his brother Ubbe to get to the Queen, I grinn rising with my king, always by his side, as Ivar slowly crawls towards the woman his brother behind him. Lagatha rises as she grabs her blade, I turn to Kai, but the man shakes his head at me and pulls me to him

"This is his fight, my Queen" He whispers to me as the doors burst open 

"If you kill her my bothers you have to kill me too" I snort at the man's comment 

"Maybe we should" I hear Ivar say

"Shut up," Ubbe tells him, I frown at him, its like no one here knows who and what Ivar is "She killed our mother"

"I know, you want revenge, so would I, but more importantly we have to avenge our father, that is why I came back, and that is what we are going to do" 

I shake my head as the blond Queen drops the blade before Ivar, and as Kai pulls me to Ivar, I look down at him, I can feel his frustration and anger as we leave.

I sit washing the paint from my body, Elish pops her head into the tent, I nod allowing her to come in, she gives me a small smile.

"I saw the Morrigan in my dreams last night" She whispers her voice shaking, I sit back frowning at the woman

"Was it on the battlefield?" I ask rising to pour the woman a cup of wine, I hold it out to her, she takes it her hands pale as ash, she shakes her head no 

"But when I awoke there was a crow in my tent, black as night" 

"What did she show you in this dream," I ask my eyes studying her face

"Betrayal of brothers, fighting over one woman, and the birth of a beast" She frowns her hazel eyes dart over my face as I step back in shock

"I have received a warning from our kings gods" I say sitting down, tears form in my eyes  "Heed my words Child, You Kings wrath will end your future, for if he draws the blood of his brother Sigurd, your first born will not be a child but a beast, a wolf, and it will lay dead in your arms"

Elish looks to me in shock and horror "that's why you screamed" she whispered rising and walking towards me, pulling me into a hug, as I sobbed and cried...
