Phil

After Phil lost Dan in the hallway he just spend the entire lunch break walking around the school trying to find him. Sadly he went to a really big school and he couldn't find Dan or the jocks. Even though he was worried sick he went to his next class, he couldn't help Dan if he didn't know where he was.

He couldn't concentrate on his class for a second. All he could think about was how he managed to loose Dan. One minute they were walking in peace and the next he is being dragged of by 3 huge guys. Phil tried to go after them but they were out of sight in no time. He felt so guilty, what if Dan got hurt?

Phil went to all his classes for the rest of the day, no trace of Dan. He did ran into the jocks at some point, but what was he gonna do? Kindly ask to point to the direction where I can find him? Plus Phil saw that Spencer didn't recognize him in the hallway, he just went straight for Dan. He didn't really want to remind him of the incident of that morning.

So Phil kept his head down, he turned invisible like he always did. Just trying to get through the day and make it to practice. Practice... Shit... He had practice with Spencer. That couldn't end well... Phil moaned in distress thinking about the rage in Spencer's eyes. He was not looking forward to that.

Phil made sure he was very late for practice so he could change in his gym clothes alone. When he put his top on he saw himself in the mirror. The top was at least two sizes too big on him, and it had no sleeves, so you could see his skinny, bony arms. He hated the way he looked, he looked weak, like a pray his dad said.

Every piece of him told him to turn around and not go on that field. He felt like he was walking to his execution. But every time he thought about quitting he could hear his dad scold him. Calling him a loser, weak, a sissy. He had to do this. With heavy feet he walked on the field. He saw the group of jocks standing together listening to the coach. "What the hell?" he heard somebody whisper. He saw that Spencer noticed him. "Is that...?" Spencer squinted his eyes looking at Phil from a distance.

The coach heard whispers and turned around. "Ah yes, guys, since Christopher has his knee injury, Phil Lester is gonna take his place." Coach said, as it was something to be proud of. Spencer looked like he was gonna explode, he stared at Phil with rage. Some of the guys started making jokes about Phil's appearance. "Can that guy even hold a ball?" "I'm pretty sure those arms are just made out of bone, nothing else." Some guys laughed, some were outraged. Was this suppose to be a member of the team?

Spencer did not take his eyes of off Phil during practice. Phil told the coach that he fainted and he agreed that Phil should just view the practice today, next training he'll participate. Phil stayed next to the coach for the full two hours, scared if he'll leave his sight Spencer will launch  himself at him. He looked at the exercises with dread, he was not, really not this athletic. What once seemed like the best idea, now looks like the worst mistake he ever made.

After practice Phil made sure he stayed to talk with the coach, as the team went to the locker room. "What do you think is a good position for me?" Phil asked, having zero interest in the answer, but he just wanted to stall. "Well, probably defense. But kid, I'm gonna be honest, I don't think you're gonna play this year." Coach tried to say it delicately but Phil knew what he was gonna say. You're not nearly good enough to play, you look like a skeleton. "You're really just here for backup, in case three people can't play, then it's your turn you see?" Phil just nodded, he didn't really care. He didn't wanna play anyway. Coach went on a little longer, trying to make it not sound as harsh but truth was, Phil sucked. He knew it, Coach knew it, hell the entire school knew it. It was no surprise to him.

Silently Phil opened the door to the locker room. Everything seemed empty and quiet, so he entered. He took two steps before he felt two strong arms pull his shoulders and turned him around. Face first he was pushed into the wall, feeling a strong weight being pushed into his back. "Hello there, little pervert." Phil felt the warm breath on his neck and tried to escape the hold Spencer had on him. "Haha, nice try little guy, you really think you're stronger than me?" With a strong swing Phil was turned around so he faced Spencer. Spencer had both his hands on Phil's shoulders, pushing them into the wall, giving Phil no way out. "I still haven't gotten even with you." he smirked. Phil anxiously looked around the room, noticing that they were alone. He tried hitting Spencer's arm but he just laughed.

"First, you check out my girlfriend while I'm right there?!" Wait what, Spencer thinks I was checking out his girlfriend?  "And now you dare come into my team?! You think you can just do that?!" "I'm sorry, I swear I wasn't.." Phil tried, but he didn't even know why. Spencer didn't really look like a guy that listened to reason.

Spencer pushed Phil aside, sticking out his leg so that Phil trips and falls on the floor. He puts one foot on his chest and kneels down. "Look buddy, I already beat up one kid today and I'm really not feeling it anymore." Phil's breath stopped for a second. He knew who Spencer meant by that. "So let me make you a deal, I let you go right now, and I NEVER," he came even closer to Phil's face, "EVER, see you again. Not in practice, not in the hallway and not anywhere near my girlfriend." Phil tried to keep breathing but the truth was, he was scared out of his mind. Spencer could do whatever he wanted to him, and there was no way Phil could stop him. "Do we have a deal?" Phil started nodding furiously. "Yes definitely, you'll never see me again."

Spencer smiled, in a very creepy way. "Good, I thought so." He stood up straight. "Just one last thing." With full force Spencer smashed his feet down, only an inch away from Phil's face. Phil screamed and winched to the side. Spencer walked away while laughing silently, leaving Phil in terror on the locker room floor.
