Aftermath of War

Beacon Academy. The once great stature of hope and peace for the kingdom of Vale was in the midst of a reconstruction efforts headed by Glynda Goodwitch, the now headmistress of the school and various other teachers. Students flocked back to the school to help and those who transferred transferred back to their once great palace. The kingdom began to slowly rebuild its back from the grave that was the War for Remnant.

The war against Salem and Onyx had taken a great toll on the entire planet. Cities were burned and lives were in ruin. However, thanks to the efforts of a small group of individuals, the war ended and the Grimm armies crushed. Now the world only had one thought in mind, reconstruction. And for some of these "individuals", it started at Beacon. After some legal battles, Weiss Schnee took over the Schnee Dust Company from her father and became the world's youngest CEO. Leia Burns took the Burns Industries Corporation from her grandfather and joined Weiss in the title.

From that, funding was granted, huntsmen and huntresses called in to deal with Grimm and everything seemed at peace. Ozpin was gone for entity and life calmed down.

Currently, Frederic Scorch overlooks the construction on Beacon as the sun slowly begins to set for the evening. He sighs to himself and takes a drink of the liquid besides him. Afterwards, he hears footsteps coming up behind him and turns and smiles at seeing Leia walk up to join him.

Fred: Hey.

Leia: Hey. (Looks to Beacon) Almost done. Just another month to go and we are good.

Fred: Well, we're making progress.

Leia: That's one way of looking at things.

Leia glances over to Fred after a few seconds of silence and sees him looking at pictures on his scroll. She sighs to herself again and slowly wakes her hand in front of Fred's face.

Fred: Wh-what?

Leia: Really? You're still worried about them?

Fred glances back to his scroll to see the images. Wanted signs for the last of Salem's lieutenants. Cinder Fall who returned during the Sacking of Atlas. Hazel Rainart who escaped after the Vacuo Campaign. Dr. Lavenza Volt who also escaped during the campaign. Damson Shade, whom also ran. And Roz Quarzo, who was in Vacuo thanks to a few sightings. He sighs to himself one last time before Leia rolls her eyes again.

Leia: Shouldn't you be more concerned about your wife?

Fred: Yang and I aren't married!

Leia: But you are engaged!

It happened at a victory party at Junior's. Neither of them wanted to wait any longer and Fred preposed right on the dance floor without second thought. Of course, he was beyond embarrassed nowadays but happy none the less.

Fred: So...Jaune, huh?

Leia: How the hell did you-You little scumbag! You read-

Fred: Your diary? Yes. Do't worry, Yang, Ruby, Weiss and Neptune did too.

Leia: Those little...why though?!

Fred: Because we could.

Leia gave Fred a cold stern look. He raised his eyebrow in a bit of suspicion then lowered them and slowly began to form a fist. The two look at one another before blasting out into laughter and nearly spilling their drinks in the process. Finally, both calmed down and placed a hand on each other's shoulder for support.

Leia: We should start a stand-up act!

Fred: How about we don't! Because you know what will happen then.
