Vacuoan, Valen, and Menagerie forces had entered Fumi Cove a day later, ready to move Damson Shade out of the country and back to Vacuo to complete his execution. Ember and May walked with some guards to begin the reconstruction of their home. Meanwhile, May glanced outside to see her father being loaded into a Valen medical shuttle to give him treatment. May sighed and followed Ember and two guards he was talking to. Ember was ordering some reinforcement and to hunt down Hazel for interrogation in order to figure out the plan ahead.

May grabbed Ember and spun him around.

Guard 1: Ma'am?

Ember: Ok, what's up?

May: We need to talk. No business, no issues. We need to talk to our daughter.

Ember: ...Right. Let's go.

The two parents walked off back to the upper floors. Inside the bedroom of Mocha, there were two guards standing there. May waved them off and she stepped inside the room with Ember. Inside was Mocha and Wolfgang, sitting on the bed. Wolfgang looked up at his parents as Mocha slowly did the same. She looked like she was about to cry. May smiled and knelt down and hugged Mocha.

May: There's nothing to worry about, Sweetie.

Ember walked over and placed a hand on Mocha's shoulder and smiled at his daughter. He leaned down and kissed her forehead and sat down on the bed next to Wolfgang. Mocha slowly broke away and looked up at her adoptive father.

Mocha: Why? Why me? Why am I-

Ember: You're our daughter. Whether you like it or not.

Mocha: But...am I his-

Ember: We...never did a DNA test. He couldn't have had your scent. It could have been mine. Your mother's. Heck, he attacked your Aunt and Uncle before he came here. So there's evidence he just said that as a way to mess with us.

Mocha: Then...who are my parents?

Ember: I...have no idea. I checked. Everywhere I could. Every lead. Every home, every person that could possibly be lead to your origins...gone. Packed up and moved months before I got there or dead. (Sighs) We'll figure things out and-

Mocha: NO!

Ember was taken aback slightly but leaned back in when Mocha calmed down.

Mocha: I...I-

May: It's ok. Sh, sh. It's ok.

May continued to console her adoptive daughter while Ember stood up and gestured for Wolfgang to follow. The two of them walked out of the room, Ember sighing as he leaned back against the wall.

Wolfgang: I'm sorry, Dad.

Ember: It's not your fault, kiddo. I mean, we were planning on telling her it's just...this wasn't the plan at all. I should be the one who is sorry to you, kiddo. I basically lied to you your entire life.

Wolfgang: No you didn't. She still my sister.

Ember looked down at Wolfgang and smiled a little as he patted his head. Wolfgang laughed slightly and Ember's smile grew. Ember laughed a little until he got a call on his scroll.

Ember: Sorry buckaroo. Gotta take this one. It's your grandpa.

Wolfgang nodded as Ember walked off and answered the call. Wolfgang looked back at the doorway and sighed to himself, shoving his hands into his pocket and walked off back to his own bedroom to try and deal with the troubles.
